  1. i hope Ensenada for west coast, easy drive and beautiful port, enough of heavy handed government here in the socialist states of America
  2. we received some of the gift card refunds for our cancelled march cruise, but no credit card refunds yet they even fedex a gift card with a 2 cent balance, we are still trying to figure that one out
  3. in another post you say 600 means nothing to carnival and now all of a sudden it does? whatever- the buzzards are circling If they have your money I would get it back and rebook once they restart "its your money" - do you really trust what this guy says!!!! trust your own gut and mine says GET OUT NOW so I did today full refund keep your $600 carnival and see you on the other end of this "hopefully"
  4. I'll still trust analysts before you amen to that, my cousin works as a broker in New York for t.rowe and he laughed when i forwarded him this thread " Hey if ccl breaks even before 2023 you can say the analysts were wrong" he thinks 2024-26 if they start operations in march and he looks at this stuff for a living and the debt taken on in the last year and the rates paid for such debt and past top performing years puts the rebound to profitability in this range according to my cousin "if you think debt reorganization bankruptcy is not on the table for ccl then you are smoking something " not saying he knows all but again he does this for a living not a crystal ball like others on this thread
  5. I just got off the phone with our trip insurer <A-G> and they said yes 100% covered for bankruptcy of cruise line
  6. from our policy not with carnival DEFAULT/BANKRUPTCY 100% Trip Cost Per Insured
  7. i am very concerned, no collateral junk bonds now as all other collateral already in previous bond sales , another 1.5 billion in stock sold, carnival is now so loaded with debt, debt reorganization is coming shareholders are at the end of the line to get paid in bankruptcy after all bonds and debts, <aka> zero for you as a stock holder hertz shareholders received zero Thomas cook travel in Europe 1 million paid reservations - out there money 3rd party insurance thank goodness for as carnival has 8k of my money for 2 booked cruises already paid for but insured
  8. RISK is a understatement and for a 100 obc myself i do not need john to give me a warning to risky for me rite now as carnival is in market with -unsecured collateral junk bonds-, by the way shareholders of common stock get paid last after all of these bonds and all other debits are repaid in bankruptcy-stockholders last " unsecured bonds are borrowing with nothing left to borrow against collateral wise" and shareholders get repaid out of the nothing left in a bankruptcy just ask someone who had hertz stock and this after primary share holder of hertz stock lost 1.8 billion himself just do a search for unsecured collateral junk bonds and this article will come up from article in bloomb--g Carnival Returns to Bond Market Without Ships as Collateral 11/19/2020 The company is reverting to unsecured bonds after reaching a cap on the amount of its fleet backing debt
  9. called in this morning about only ship sponsored shore excursions to get off ship and was told no, we can still go off on our own, will be in mex Rivera in march, rep said no changes to passengers being able to explore on own i don't know if i believe this and should need to rebook for later as being forced on carnival shore excursion on bus full of people not our cup of tea at all, after doing this itinerary 6 times already BY THE WAY CARNIVAL WOULD LOVE THIS_EVERYONE GOES ASHORE PAYING FOR THE PRIVALGE TO GET OFF SHIP TO CARNIVAL BY PAYING FOR CARNIVAL SHORE EXCURSION
