I do enjoy a good Châteauneuf-du-Pape we have close friends that live in that region. I have been to Nassau once and enjoyed our food tour there.   4. Good morning and thanks for the daily report Rich. Emergency nurses are so important and definitely deserve their own day. Skeptics are important as long as they don’t take things too far. My favorite fossil is a Petoskey Stone, one of which I have on display in the den. Having three sisters, I can say that Louis XIV has a point, sometimes. The meal suggestion sounds very tasty. It’s also the day that we go outdoors at noon in Greenwich England and scream for thirty seconds to relieve frustration. We certainly don’t have the room for another cookbook.   6. Good morning everyone and thanks for today’s report Rich. I had no idea until yesterday that today is the marathon, I guess that I forgot that it had been rescheduled. No parties, no tears here today. In celebration of Kraken Day we’ll have to order calamari for lunch. Happy Thanksgiving to all of our Canadian friends, enjoy your dinners.   7. Good morning everyone and thanks for the daily report Rich. Happy Columbus/Indigenous Peoples Day weekend everyone. I’m grateful for the day off tomorrow. I had a brief stint as a newspaper carrier delivering the Sunday paper. The quote is spot on especially when it comes to writing something. The chicken dish sounds delicious but vacation has taken it’s toll so something simple today. Haven’t been to today’s port and can’t wait for the photos.   8. Good morning everyone and thanks for today’s report. Curious events sound fun, fire prevention is important, I received my Smokey the Bear fire prevention badge in the fourth grade. Leif Erikson opened the world to Europeans. The pork chops sound delicious. We’ve been to Quebec City on both land trips and on the Veendam, what a magical place.   10. Good evening all. Today is a picture perfect New England day, almost summer like. We laid around the pool all day and pretended we were on a ship and it was a sea day. I hope you don’t mind if I share some of today’s photos.

Interesting collection of days and while I’m not a big fan of kale the Portuguese Kale soup that I had yesterday was wonderful, I could have that every day. The weather is clearing up today so we’ll rent bikes and go for a ride through the dunes and have a picnic along the way. The quote is so true. Today’s meal suggestion sounds great. Looks to be another gray rainy day here on the Cape so I hope to take a chunk out of the murder mystery that I’m reading by Caroline Graham. For my first nice act I’m letting hubs sleep in hopefully more will follow. Cheers for all you teachers out there, I wasn’t blessed with patience and really appreciate the important work that you do each day. I love a good storyteller and miss Garrison Keillor every Saturday evening. Funny quote by Thurber. The chicken sounds delicious will have to try it when I get home.   15. Thanks, we love this time of year, crowds are gone but all the shops and restaurants are open. Went to Napis on Saturday but didn’t have the soup, we really love that place. We’ll probably have it at The Mayflower later this week. The one odd thing is that this fall there is a cycle of salt water mosquitoes that I’ve never experienced here before and boy are they hungry!
  16. Good morning everyone from a rainy, gray Provincetown (still beats going to work) and thank-you Rich for the daily report. No golfing here in the rain today, a frappe sounds like a nice alternative though. Child Health Day is very important. Thought provoking quote today or not, if my brain drops out! I had a delicious clam chowder yesterday at The Lobster Pot and I may just do so again today. I haven’t been to today’s port and can’t wait for the photos.   17. Good morning and thanks for the daily report. Nice collection of days, I wonder if there will be a blessing of the fleet here in Provincetown, many fishing vessels here. Not sure about the pumpkin ravioli I think fish this evening. The quote is funny, seems like I’ve seen it used as someone’s quote in an old high school yearbook. I’ve been to St. Lucia twice, both times before I had my iPhone so no pics. We did swim into the cave where Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed, very cool.   18. Good morning everyone and thanks for the daily report. Frugal fun is the best kind because you know that a big bill isn’t forthcoming. Where would we be without custodians, in a mess for sure. While it doesn’t have an official name our 2003 Toyota Highlander could be called Endurance, it still looks brand new. I like the quote by Whitman. The meal suggestion sounds nice but since we’re off to Provincetown for a week later today we’ll be dining out each night, I’ll take the g&t though. We were in Grenada in 2008 and did a great bird watching excursion with one of the leading ornithologists in the region, sadly no pics.   21. Thanks for today’s report Rich and happy Wednesday everyone. I tip my hat to Confucius and Broadway musicals. I just took my first sip of coffee today and never leave home without it. Today’s quote is something we should do often. We’ve been eating low carb for a while so will pass on the meal suggestion although it sounds interesting.
