  1. That is just a subset of their most common wines. I cruise Celebrity frequently so know all the restaurants share a larger wine cellar menu that has hundreds more wines by the bottle - but it does vary by ship somewhat as each ship gets different wines by region. I was just on the Solstice two months ago but forgot to take a picture of the full Chardonnay list. They definitely had way more than what I see in the app and I’ve looked at every bar and restaurant menu in the app. A perfect example is that they had Veuve Rich (not a Chardonnay) and some very expensive reds (thousands of dollars) which are not on any of the app menus.
  2. The app only has wines by the glass and not the comprehensive bottle list.
  3. Is there anyone currently on the Solstice that can take a photo of their Chardonnays by the bottle from the larger wine list (not those by the glass)? Trying to figure out if we need to bring two bottles with us or if they will have something we like.
  4. We were on a Royal Suite and a Penthouse on the Millie last year and both times were invited to an officer's lunch in Blue on one of the sea days. It was excellent. There were around 6-8 officers and 12-14 suite guests.
  5. On many of the ships, the Royal Suites and PH suites (and maybe other top suites), it is a true king bed vs two twins put together. It usually says in the detailed room description. Regular cabins (Veranda, Concierge, etc) have two beds together that can be split apart.
  6. You have to hit option 3 after dialing that number, and then option 2 for everything above a sky suite. Expect to wait about an hour to reach anyone, and they will only take a message to have your concierge call you, as the odds of your actual concierge answering are very low. Being in a RS, you don't want to book online since the specialty dining is included. There have been lots of changes with the shoreside concierges. I've had 3 different ones in the last month and haven't even cruised yet. If by chance you are on the Solstice or Beyond, I do have the email addresses for both of those concierges and could post them if needed. Once you get hold of them, I've found email is the best way to communicate so everything is documented. Note it does often take them 24-48 hours to respond since some things take time to arrange directly with the ship.
  7. I found an image of the page out on the internet - hopefully this helps.
  8. Many of the Shoreside Concierges have either changed roles or are new. In the 3 months leading up to my cruise, I've had 3 different Shoreside Concierges assigned to my ship. Its best to call, get their name and email address, and have that as a backup if the hold times are long (they were over an hour for me yesterday).
  9. We usually stay in a RS or PH when we cruise and you definitely don't want to book online. You should get an email with your shoreside Retreat Concierge name and email about 90 days prior to sailing. We sometimes try to pre-plan where we want to go, but have found they are very accommodating once you're onboard to change at the last minute given you are in the top suite. We've always gotten into whatever specialty restaurant we want even with very little notice.
  10. There is the main menu that goes with the animation and an alternate menu (that won't match the animation). We found they were very accommodating as we traveled with guests who had allergies and were also gluten intolerant. They can prepare almost anything in advance if you give them enough notice.
  11. Even the luxury lines have special "privileges" for their upper end suites - Celebrity is no different. Food and service is definitely a step up than Princess, NCL, RCCL (IMO). As others have said, you won't feel like a "second class" passenger - you just may not have access to the Retreat Lounge or Blu - but there are many other places, bars, and restaurants to pick from.
  12. There are definitely holdbacks for the other specialty restaurants (especially for the high end suites like the Royal Suite, Penthouse, etc where specialty restaurants are included and people don't want to have to decide too far in advance). We did 3 cruises last year (all in a Penthouse) and were able to go into whatever specialty restaurant we wanted without having to make reservations and were told they do keep a few tables held for the top suites. We were told (on each cruise by 3 different people) that the Chef's Table does in fact sell out beforehand since it is only 12 seats and done once per cruise. Likely there were cancellations due to COVID, etc that opened up the four slots - or possibly they were willing/able to accommodate more than 12 as a one-time exception.
  13. Unfortunately not as they often sell out months before the cruise, although once in a great while someone will cancel or not board the ship and a spot will open up.
