it doesn’t sound like it’s going well there. With 4,000 prison inmates loose, they will have a hard time controlling this situation.  

I can’t answer the OPs question since this is our first Celebrity cruise coming up.  We have however booked several cruises with RC after final payment. We got great cabins and we saved a lot of money. This was pre covid and popular cruise times. We will book this way again in the future. Best of luck to the OP with their situation, 

My hubby (Marine vet) and I will be sailing on the Apex next month.  I know on RC they have a gathering of vets in a lounge about halfway through their 7 day cruises.  We have met some awesome veterans and families like this.  I didn’t know if Celebrity offered anything like this.  I did search but didn’t locate anything.  Thank you.

We have had Surf Shark for about 4 years. We have never had any issues onboard a ship and were able to log in from different countries to watch shows late at night. 

We haven't sailed on Celebrity yet. Both of us are excited. Our last cruise on the Allure was a 6 out of 10 and that had been one of our favorite ships.  Remaining positive that the Apex is better in Match ☺️

We will be sailing on the Apex in March.  There in one island we have been too numerous times and we do not plan to get off the ship.  Does the spa ever offer any specials while in port?  Does anyone have any price lists if they do?  Also, do you have to book these the morning of, or do you do it a few days before the port?  I've searched and can't find anything on this topic.

We have decided that all of the 22 cruises we have taken stocked the John Wayne toilet paper. Rough and tough and doesn't take #@!$ off of anyone. It's see through, thin, etc. There is really no difference in using 3-4 times the normal amount of the JW toilet paper versus the normal amount with normal toilet paper. Either way there could be a backup. JMHO.. (funny topic but we agree) 😆

In any cruise ship spa we have ever utilized, we always write clearly on their form; no real health issues, and we are NOT interested in any products, just our massage (or whatever we have booked).  We learned on the first time we used a ship spa back in 2003, they will hound you hard core for products. Since writing this on the form, we have never had any issues and some great massages. ☺️. 

Remember, theft is opportunity. Studies have shown that when something is left unattended, whether it’s a purse, a phone, a camera, etc., people that normally wouldn’t steal, may just steal if they think they can get away with it. We have never left anything of value laying out in our cabin. We always lock everything in the safe or in our Delsey zipperless suitcase. As far as the pool or beach, I use a Flexsafe by Aquavault bag that attaches to a chair if we are taking items with us that need securing. We have been on our way out of our cabin (Royal) when we see cabin doors wide open, but no cabin steward in sight. That’s a bit concerning to me.😕

I was in my reservation for other reasons and spotting a beverage package sale.  I do not know if this is a good deal as we do not book it but thought it might help someone else out.  We sail on 3/16/24.  ~E

Ok, so I went ahead and called.  The lady I spoke to confirmed that its not on the Celebrity page.  She sent me an email confirmation.  I'm sorry but I find that really odd. <scratching head here>.  At least I have in writing that it was paid for.  🙂

I was just looking at our cruise on Celebrity's website.  I am not seeing where I purchased our WiFi on the Black Friday weekend.

Does anyone know where exactly they hide this info at?  I just don't want any surprises when we get onboard.

Thanks everyone.  It would make no sense to get the refreshment package for my hubby, he drinks more water than anything.  We are not soda drinkers.  I will just pay as I go.  I would never drink more than 2 or 3 drinks a day on top of the happy hour drinks that are offered.  I appreciate all the responses.

Thanks Doghog, I searched yesterday and this wasn’t coming up?  Bummer….  Weird how they can have one on RC but not Celebrity.  I will just purchase what I want. 
 

in case anyone is interested, I could not purchase even the classic pkg because my husband has health issues and doesn’t drink. I was told that he would have to purchase same pkg, Neither of us drink soda so I will just pay as I go. I appreciate the screens shot. ☺️

Are there any liqueurs offered?  I know on Royal, we did have one available but I can’t recall what it was.  I’m a Baileys/Kailua lover so just curious.  If not, I will just purchase myself.  Thanks to anyone that knows.  We are new to Celebrity but old school on RC so I appreciate any insight. 
 

Thanks Old Fart Cruisers.  We have something very similar to that item. Ours has 2 hooks on it that normally go over the shower stall door with no problem. (RC cruiser here). Since there is no shower door and just a curtain, that’s the issue. I will figure out some way to hang it.  I’m not a fan of shower curtains. Thanks for your post and link! ☺️

Ok so ferromagnetic would make me happy not necessarily excited. It was a simple question, nothing more.

It has been many many years since we have sailed on Carnival. We will be on the Horizon in 2024.  Are the walls of the shower magnetic?  I’ve found YouTube videos of the cabin (which I already knew were magnetic) but no one checked the bathroom in the 2 videos.

The last time I cruised with Carnival was 2007.  Does Carnival match the status of your spouse?  I know Royal does this, just have no clue about Carnival.

We sail on the Apex in about 4 months.  We had talked about dining at Eden.  However, I am not willing to pay that for a meal. I have no doubt the food is good, but we haven’t paid  near that much at a really nice restaurant in our area.  We will be happy with the main dining room or other free options. ☺️
