  1. On our Coral Princess Hawaii cruise, they had crew at Guest Services as well as the Computer area assisting guests who needed it. Princess also gives instructions on what to enter for ship arrivals. I completed the online version via iPhone and the supplied web link. This was a couple of days before arriving in NZ.   2. I ordered the sports band before joining the cruise and was given it at check in. I found it was way too tight for my wrist , so I bought the one like a watch band once onboard. No refund for the pre ordered band was available. Cheers, Buzz.

  4. Reminded me that my bigpond emails stopped working about 3 weeks into our 35 night cruise. I wondered at the time it was because of using the ship's public wifi . I contacted Telstra and they said my account had been corrupted. I used the " recover my account " to change my password and it worked again. I really think Bigpond.com is not much good anymore . Time to change to another email provider. Cheers, Buzz.
  5. Changed to a new email address . Getting emails ok now. Asked another question via social media page. Told to expect a reply within 28 days ! Transferred the booking to our travel agent. Cheers, Buzz.
  6. We bought 2 large Stanley bears with the remaining non refundable. Very necessary purchases ! Cheers, Buzz.
  7. We have never had any credit left over at the end of a cruise before , always a bill. Princess Prizes worked too ! We won a backstage tour before a production show, met the cast and were escorted around by the cruise director and the entertainment manager.Given 3 large printed photos of the event next day. Many curious looks when we returned back into the theatre. Also won $340 non refundable credit. We thought it was in name only,"Princess Prizes" as we 99% of the time saw " better luck next time " on our door screen. Cheers, Buzz.
  8. Hello, I forgot to mention , at the end of our Coral Princess trip, we had $167.00 in refundable credit. The final statement showed that amount referred to Corporate Finance. In exactly 2 calender weeks from debark, the funds were in our account via direct transfer from HSBC. Cheers, Buzz.

  10. Hello, after enjoying our 35 night Coral Princess trip , we decided to book another cruise. Even further we decided to give Cunard a try. Registered a new account with them. Then booked a cruise with them. No confirmation emails received. Online agent said we are having problems with the Bigpond domain. Please use another email address. Changed the email address on my account. Registered the change ok. Still no emails a few days later. Contacted online agent again , same one , surprise, as I now have to log into my account with the bigpond address but it shows the new address in my profile. The strange thing is I am receiving the agent's email responses to my bigpond email. Today's agent says they will look further into my account issue. My expectations must have been way too high.   14. I can recommend the Rawson Hotel directly opposite the OPT. Happy hour 4-7 pm weekdays as well ! We dined there on Monday night and stared up at the Ovation of the Seas. Cheers,Buzz.
  15. We have 7 days till embarkation and now when I log into the app it shows a spinning wheel thing which does not resolve itself. I can see chat feature, order feature but ship schedule and first screen just spin. Is this likely to resolve itself or should I uninstall the app and try again ? IOS phone. Cheers, Buzz.

  18. I think, if some one can afford a 110 day world cruise, another 6 grand pp for more space is well worth it. Years ago we paid for an upgrade to a Penthouse Suite on Diamond Princess and loved the space, after previously cruising in balcony cabins. That cruise was only 8 days. It is a personal decision for everyone . To each their own. Cheers, Buzz.

  21. It just says Princess.com , no obvious sign of an outside mob sending the email. Princess Cruise Line LTD , 24305 Town Center Drive, Santa Clarita , CA 91355. Booked direct with Princess. When I booked , which was 527 days out, Suites were already marked as sold out. I wonder if, some one , not me, offered a gazillion dollars for the upgrade , would Princess then offer the encumbents a move over offer ? Cheers, Buzz.
  22. I had heard and read about these bidding things and finally got one ! We are currently booked in an M1 Mini Suite. To upgrade to a Premium Suite : From $10699 pp. To upgrade to a Vista Suite :From $1685 pp. These are for the 35 night cruise in March 2024. Wallet stays zipped for us. Cheers, Buzz.
