  1. We are spa cabin cruisers, the only real welcoming is your tour where they try getting you to buy things. One tip is to get to know the Spa Manger, you can get some good deals. Remember the Spa is not run by Carnival but Steiner. I have got extra things or even get the private terminal room at a good price or even free.
  2. I have room 12304 booked for Feb, also our friends that are going with us have a regular balcony 12302. Can't wait till we can get a previews of the OS Corners room. I wanted one facing towards the rear due to the wind tunnel, but I think we will be fine due to the side shield. I'm more concern of our friends room then mine.
  3. I booked the Hoilday Inn beach resort but at the time I was looking other also had a spring rate going on. Also booked a gateway back at home because of the spring rate.
  4. FYI there are some great rate going on right now. Just booked my room on a special spring rate.
  5. Seems about right, MG will take a little longer to get online due to training. I was watching the Ada Nova special on Youtube and seemed to be a whole new learning curve for the captain and due to Spains guidelines lines they can’t get anyone on the MG till it leaves that area.
  6. Let's hope this is followed up with, and now Cruise line can start preparing to sail with no guidelines.
  7. I reached out to HGI last night and voiced my concerns about what I had read on their Cape Canaveral location. They stated this was the first time they had come aware of this, and sent a letter to the GM to do a follow up to them and to me. I don't know if they where playing the whole. WE DIDN'T KNOW, or they really didn't. I was informed that management did change in Sept of 2020 and the property is run by Orange Lake Resorts. Hopefully I have an answer soon, I'll keep everyone updated as I find out.
  8. Sorry had to return to make a post, as I started to book I decided to look at the reviews on their page. It seems the have very poor costumer service in regards to check-in so far this year. So I will be calling first and asking to talk to someone first before booking.
  9. Sure will, I always record all my hotel, cruise, etc. vacations and forget to do reviews but after covid I think it will be important not to forget.
  10. Thanks for this, Unfortunately the day we need it says rooms are not available. We are staying one day before and one day after. It seems only a Two night minimum . I'll call them and see what they can do.
  11. Thank you everyone for the information, will be booking tonight for our Feb Cruise.
  12. My wife and I are doing this, We are flying in to MCO the night before renting a car and staying in PC. Then we are thinking of doing the same thing on the way back but staying near MCO. We figured, for the cost of a shutter or Uber and calling a Uber if we want to explore while we are there. It will be cheaper to rent a car. The other reason why this works out for us because we have a early flight coming in 10Am and late flight leaving 5PM. With a 2 year old we don’t want to hang out at the airport or rush for a early flight and living in New England we need the extra days incase of Snow Storm.
  13. Did you end up booking this hotel? I'll be sailing in Feb 2022 on the Mardi Gras and also looking into this hotel. We will be going with a 2.5 year old so we rather be on the beach side as well and closer to the port. Hopefully someone who has stayed here can post.
  14. John has said that once he is able to get onboard he will start posting video. Not sure why Carnival is waiting for him to be onboard when Pierre is able to do these. Pierre one day posted a bunch of photos but where quickly taken down a couple hours after. I keep asking John about it, and his response is always very soon.
  15. Although not english, if you look up AIDAnova Verandakabine mit Bugblickon on youtube the ship has wind-blockers on the front facing cabins. Which is really cool, I'm not sure if they are on the Mardi Gras since they are sister ships, hope that helps a little.
  16. I had a May 21 booking myself on Sunrise cxl on March 13, with a rebook to Sept booking. Was given OBC, FCC and the rest was to be refunded. I haven't revived that yet but glad to hear some are getting their refund. I still need to accept the offer for my Sept Cruise but hesitating until i get the refund for the May Cxl.
  17. Hope everything works out for you, we took the 25% which was about $700 ( I has a Ocean Suite booked) and also applied my deposit to our next cruise and got $225.00 OBC because we booked about two days after learning of cxl cruise. Although we booked a simple 4 day gateway cruise, it only cost me a little over $650 after discount and deposit for two.
  18. Go on the first day and talk to Spa Manger and let him know that you are staying in Room # and it is not a Spa room but do have interest in learning more. During our last cruise on Breeze in 2016 we did just that, we ended up getting a one day pass and fell in love with the T-Pool, Thermal Suites after that we booked a Spa room for our next cruise and so on. If the Management is still the same (which 3 years probably not) they are good at giving you a deal to get you in. Steiner operates the Spas so they can give you extra deals if you talk to the manger. (Spa Manager not Carnival)
  19. Do you have a PVP, I have mine email me or text me when thing open up or change.
  20. I can't speak for NY, but as the two post above that seems to be the norm at every port. At least for Galaveston and Ft. Laundale we boarded right after the Wedding guest.
  21. We love to fly out of Worcester because how small, quick to get in, and cheap parking. but during our last trip we learned that Worcester can be a tricky airport if you have a time limit. A couple people on our flight let us know because of where the airport located sometime planes cannot land or have to approach from a different side. This happen to us on our way home, we started to descent and quickly had to regain attitude and come from the other side. I thought after them putting in the CAT III system thing would change. Good Luck, hope everything works out. We now fly out of Bradley or Logan for a cruise but still will use Worcester if we have a couple days extra to use.
  22. On our sailing on Breeze we had the tag team of Mike and Mike, so it made our cruise amazing. As stated above it was really nice to be able to walk around the ship with nothing to go inside to go back outside, nice and open. After Breeze we went on Splendor, which of course is a ship of it own. We enjoyed it but after going on Breeze, it just wasn't the same anymore. We have Mardi Gras next year, so we will see if it just the Newer ship feeling or Breeze it self..
  23. We had a Spa Balcony last cruise we had on the lido deck. It was pretty awesome knowing if you want to run back to your room to get something or use the bathroom it was just thru the doors and a little walk. No elevator to wait for or stairs to climb. Plus the 24/7 Pizza was really close when getting hungry at night. loved it!
  24. Checked the cruise ship tracker and didn't see anything, and I don't think anything is heading to a dry dock. Was it a older ship with a painted whale tail, then again I'm not sure if any of those are still sailing.
  25. I love getting them, but I did find it funny once that I was walking in IKEA and there was one in a display case. Unfortunately they took the name plate off so we couldn't tell which ship it came from .
