  1. A warning for anyone that booked using a 10% off coupon from a canceled cruise - I was told by my TA that if she added this new offer to my existing reservation that was booked with 10% off coupons, I would lose my 10% off and have to pay full fare. Please let me know if anyone has been able to add it without forfeiting the 10%.
  2. When I looked, the only option for an early train was to book through the cruise line.I was considering spending a night, but found I would then need to spend two days in Seward and take the train the next evening.
  3. I was originally scheduled for this cruise for this August before it was canceled. Yes, there was an early morning train excursion available through NCL that is not on the Alaskan RR site. I moved my cruise to next year and this excursion is not available yet, but I assume it will be added later.
  4. Having been on a few of each, here are my thoughts: Princess has better food in the MDR NCL has more dining options to choose from Main shows are better on NCL Princess seems to have more brought on talent and lectures Princess passengers are a bit older than NCL. Music in venues will reflect this. Evenings on Princess are quieter and end earlier. Princess has more of a formal dinner vibe even when it is not formal night while NCL is more casual. Princess does not have water slides/go carts/etc like NCL Activities like bingo/trivia/jewelry sales are ve
  5. It looks like the Eielson renovations are not happening in 2021
  6. Are you looking at 2021? The reservations are open and the shuttle bus will not go past Eielson in 2021.
  7. Are you looking at 2021 or beyond? Shuttle options are going to be limited in 2021.
  8. There is some question on whether the CDC will allow B2B cruises while the 7 day limit is in effect.
  9. Avisalaska.com has SUVs and minivans available for that date.
  10. I know Avis has a special website for Alaska, avisalaska.com.
  11. You are asking about a post made in early 2020 before anyone knew that the entire 2020 cruise season to Alaska would be canceled. I don’t think anyone has made any projections for the 2021 Alaska season.
  12. You don’t see that button if you go through a TA.
  13. My cruise isn’t until August 2021, so final payment due in April. I used Cruise Next certificates for the deposit. I don’t plan on giving anyone any more money until I feel confident we can travel safely. So I won’t be booking any excursions, flights, or hotels that want payment or deposit upfront. I have a feeling I will be canceling in April and rebooking for 2022.
