Thank you everyone for all the information about this perk. I will definitely go to cruise next, for our cruise. We will be on the Star.

One of our latitude perks is the priority tender ticket. Where on the ship do you go to get the priority tender ticket? We have an early private excursion and would like to have the priority ticket. Or is this a perk that no one actually gets?

After reading this thread, and the older one, I am now trying to decide between several transfer companies. I am looking at three transfers - Heathrow -> Southampton, Southampton -> London, and London -> Heathrow. The companies I am looking at are: Meadway Cars, Jewels Airport Transfers, Aquacars, West Quay Cars & International Friends (I don't have a quote back from them as yet). Does anyone have any recommendation for whom to use?
Thanks!
I am also looking at the same transfers as you have listed. Have you booked through any of these companies yet? Please let me know, what you decided to do. Thank you.

Any ideas on what Officer is in charge of Shore Excursions?

We received an email today inviting us to the Chef Table on our upcoming cruise. When I hit 'purchase now' on the email, it takes me to the Celebrity dining package page. No where is listed the Chef Table to purchase. Is it located somewhere else? Thank you.

How often does the point opportunity happen? I never get the emails for the points, but thanks to this site and Jim-Iain posting the webinar site, I was able to get my 3 points.

If you enjoy the casino on Celebrity then you may not love the casinos on Princess. Smoking is allowed and it’s overpowering! Just walking through the casino is nauseating. Celebrity for a big win!
Food on Celebrity is better, now that Princess has cut back on quality. Celebrity wins.
Mini suites on Princess are quite nice with a large bathroom tub/shower combo. I prefer the large glass showers on Celebrity. Standard Princess cabins, interior, ocean view and balconies, are very basic. Bathrooms are tiny with shower curtains. Celebrity wins.
Entertainment on Celebrity is very good. Entertainment on Princess is okay.Celebrity has the Solarium, free to all adults with covered pool and Aqua Spa Cafe for light meals or snacks. Princess does not have anything like this without a fee for use. Celebrity wins.
Service is equal, both very good.
Celebrity has a more upscale feel. Princess is more traditional.
Princess does have some itineraries that are preferable. Princess does Alaska better in terms of ports. We love Southampton for British Isles cruises on Princess.
Princess is usually quite a bit less expensive than Celebrity. Edge class is very expensive, compared to Princess.
Will you enjoy Princess? Probably, you will. As much as Celebrity? Only you know what is important to your family.
Wishing you happy sailings on whichever ship you choose.
100 Percent agree with what you wrote. Great answer.

My report from a few years ago shows how the trains were at that time.
Any carryon had to be at your feet. Some people have posted that there was some room on an unused seat for carryons, but that may not be true on all tours.
I think they no longer use train cars with the tables, but have regular train seats for all.
Thank you for sharing.

Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but is anyone else getting message for May & June Alaska cruises unable to book?

We'll be sailing on the 14th. Can you tell me the name of house band and also type of music? Also is there a guitar player or piano player? Thank you.

By opening door I won $250 & $25 OBC on the Caribbean Princess in October. Make sure to check your daily account, because I didn't even know I won until I saw it on our account during the cruise.
Only reason we added the perk was because of after final payment price of the cruise went down, and I called Princess and we got the upgraded perk.
I cashed most of it in the casino, since we already had so many other perks.

We self disembarked. Brooklyn is not like Fort Lauderdale or Miami Cruise ports where you go outside and there are 100 cabs waiting. There were limos and private cars, waiting for people who had reserved them. I called what I thought was a taxi outside the terminal and it ended up being a black car.( private company) to take us to the airport. My advice is arrange transportation ahead of time if you have early flights.
Can you share the car service that you used. Thank you

Tell them to email you and also call you on WHATSAPP. If you don't have that App, I'd highly recommend downloading it and using it. Free texting, free calling - even video calls if the MedallionNet is up to the task.
But Princess does have ship-to-shore numbers for each vessel.
https://www.princess.com/learn/faq/onboard/keeping-in-touch/
I saw the numbers on the keeping-in-touch, but aren't those only if you are not the US or Canada? Doesn't look like enough numbers. Will also add the WHATSAPP.

I have looked and looked on Princess website, but cannot find the emergency family contact number while we are at sea. I know in the pass there was a phone number. We do have Verizon and the cruise ship Wi-Fi package. Family would be contacting us from the U.S. Thanks for any help.

Just curious have there been anymore winners with the Premiere Princess Prizes since the original post back in July? If you are a winner, how do you know?

Looking for recommendations please, for English speaking tour guides with vehicles in Saguenay and Quebec City, Canada for small private tours.
You may want to look into www.saguenayguidetours.com We booked with them for our October cruise. English speaking and small van. As with any non ship excursion, read reviews and decide if it would work for you.

A couple of fairly recent threads on this, will post link below.
As to your specific question. It is fairly thick as far as a wallet carry.
If you have an RFID blocking wallet, it will block the signal but the Medallion might also mess with the magnetic strip on your credit cards.
In your pocket will work. But if it comes in contact with certain coins, a Mexican Peso or Euro. They will attract and may interfere with the signal.
We just used the free provided lanyard.

Thank you for the link. I even did a search before asking question.

I'm curious as to what type of medallion holder people prefer and the reasons why. Also can you just have the medallion in your wallet without a holder and would it work? Thank you.

Just of Summit Thursday. Screw top cans. I have no arthritis and always had to have my husband open cans for me.

They asked if I needed anything, I declined, but not sure what they even have to offer. I think my symptoms are pretty mild so they probably aren't that concerned.
Wishing you a mild and speedy recovery.

What is the emergency ship phone number for family members
in Norwegian Cruise Line

I have looked and looked on the NCL website and cannot find the phone number for family members to contact us if an at home emergency arises. Where on the website is this information. Or does anyone have the numbers? Thank you.
