We just sailed on the Equinox from 1129 to 12/10, and the menu was not the new, however, the food was delicious. We had no complaints at all.

Manually typing in the username and password instead of having that info saved.
I couldn't get anywhere. All I received was a "Bad Request" page. It drove me mad. I just kept at it and it finally opened correctly. Ugh! Thank for responding!

I’ve been entering it manually. I’ll try again tomorrow to see if anything is resolved. What do mean by "manually?" I cannot even get to my username. TIA

It is a ship….it is the ocean. Not a skyscraper built with foundations several stories into the ground.
You obviously haven't experienced it. We did the TA in October '22 and were thrilled that someone began this post just after we came home.
We stayed in one of the Panoramic Cabins in the middle of the ship where it had been "stretched" to add more cabins than the Epic and Apex had. The noises were insane! We have never experienced anything like it before. Someone made a huge engineering mistake when building the ship.

I am not sure if I am misunderstanding this post or not. We are sailing to Bermuda on June 2, 2024 with friends. The cruise is still up and being offered on Celebrity's site.
Are you all saying that isn't going to happen?

It's three weeks. They'll need time to figure out the menus and order food items. It's unfortunate for those sailing before Thanksgiving, but it's logistical.
Anyway, as one who doesn't like chocolate desserts, I'd better see my crème brûlée on the menu every night.
I agree! As long as the escargots and crème brûlée are there, I am happy! 😁

We always upgrade, but have never gotten it anywhere near this inexpensive. Who has time to sign slips? 🙂
My husband SO dislikes the slips! Upgrading the drink package is the one of the few times he spends money without even thinking about it! 😄

Thank you for posting the information!
Our cost just went down from $455. to $215 for our November cruise and from $319. down to $117 for our June cruise.
Quite happy!

you can see those on the APP
Unfortunately, the menus onboard can differ as things change each day. That's why I was looking for the "real deal." 😉

Great reviews. Thank you!
Would you mind terribly taking pictures of the MDR menus even if you choose the OV for dinner?
Enjoy!

We, too, have been driven from the outdoor pool to the solarium to escape for awhile, and we were not the only ones. My husband's offer of his iPod was turned down. He has hours of music from the 60's through today which is enjoyable and can be understood. We are in our sixties as are many of our fellow Celebrity cruisers. Everyone would have liked the mix. LOL We also agree that the live music at the Martini Bar on the M and S ships has been hard to bear,
On a happier note, we have enjoyed the live music at various places on the ship, particularly at lounges and Sunset Bar. They have been lovely.
This all makes me think that this is all part of Celebrity's desire to attract younger cruisers with more of a party feel. 😞

Looks like excursion prices have gone up because I got better deals last fall than anything they are discounting now.
Definitely agree!

I just found out that there is a group on our scheduled cruise in September. The group is Abraham Hicks. I have never heard of them and just wonder what to expect with the group on our cruise. I have been other cruises where there are groups and have had only one unpleasant experience where the group would try to kick people out of bars or other areas, saying that they had reserved the room/bar for themselves. We found out from crewmembers that it was not true. All other groups were usually in the theater or other areas that don't have any other "public" events scheduled at the time. I also have learned a lot from the members of the groups when we would be seated near them, it has been a learning experience too.
How do you find out what groups may be on a particular cruise?

Trying to upgrade on board for a "bargain" price is a thing of the past. Move Up Bid prior to sailing is the way to go -- unless your booking agent doesn't participate. I have scored some great deals with Move Up Bid on some of our sailing and unsuccessful on some of our others. We always pick a cabin we will be happy with our original booking. As for loyalty -- our last cruise at least 10 crew members greeted us by name and welcomed us on board and bent over backwards to make sure we were happy. Several were from different ships we were on. That's the loyalty I enjoy!!! It felt like coming home. Can't wait for our next cruise!
JMLcruise,
You and I must have been twins separated at birth! LOL You answer is exactly what I believe, have experienced, and desire each time we cruise, especially the "loyalty" part.
Pick a cabin you will enjoy, be happy with the move-up cabin should you bid successfully, and hope you sail enough that crew members will remember you. We have had that experience and loved that more than our move-up successes.

We are looking at a few cruises in 2024 covering Greece, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Malta, etc. during September and October. The prices are the same (generally) so I am curious if one month is better than the other in terms of crowds, weather, etc. Does anyone have a preference? TIA

curate seems to be one of those words that has become fashionable without meaning what some users think it means.
YES! Especially when the word "Carefully" precedes it. It is a redundancy that drives me mad.

Has anyone had any of the noise issues described on the Beyond's, deck 6 mid ship E-2 cabins? To date I haven't read any. Issues mentioned in posts, those who have seem to be from deck 8 and above cabins. Thanks in advance.
I mentioned my cabin in #43. Our cabin was directly below Cabin 7250, an E-1 cabin. In speaking with neighbors around us and others throughout the ship, the noise problem was hit or miss. Hopefully, you will be a miss! ☺️

It would really be helpful to the community if everyone that sailed Beyond would report their cabin # on Beyond and report any noise problem - or quiet cabins. This will be a really helpful resource.
You're right, Jim. I rectified that earlier. I was very honest with Celebrity on the questionnaire about the noises we experienced and forgot to register them here. Done!

The cabin was lovely. I cannot think of anything I would change, and the location was perfect for us as it is close to everything we enjoy - Cafe al Bacio, Martini Bar, Guest Relations, etc.
The cabin was noisy, especially at night due to outside forces. I had a very hard time sleeping with banging and wind noise from outside. The ship was fully booked so moving would not have been possible. Before booking the Edge, Apex, or Beyond again, I would check these boards for better cabin locations to avoid the noise.

We brought over the Beyond this past October from Barcelona to Bayonne NJ. Were in Cabin 8130. The noise coupled with strong winds on the crossing made sleeping a challenge. Will never do an Edge class ship again on a crossing.
We were on that sailing and had the same challenge in our cabin - PO 6238. Beautiful cabin, great location, terrific cabin attendant, but it very noisy where we were located. Naps helped, but we are leery to book Edge-class ships at this point and will stick with M and S-class ships for now.

Panama Canal 2025 Eastbound release dates?
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
My husband and I would like to sail on that cruise, but nothing has been posted on the Celebrity site. I keep checking and would have thought we would find something by now, but haven't.
Is there a page to which I can subscribe to hear when dates are released? Thanks so much!
