Is Celebrity Listening- Grand Cafe Closed

I just wish they would add more bartenders to the main Martini Bar. They have been only having 3, not enough.

Is Celebrity Listening- Grand Cafe Closed

I was referring to the Grand Plaza Cafe. All they have really closed is cafe ordering area. Not very large. It is on Deck 3 next to the Martini Bar. When I first saw it closed, I asked an officer about it at the Meet and Mingle. He said they are looking at changing it. I went back to take pics of the area and what is closed isn’t that big unfortunately, so won’t have much effect. Plus it backs up to a hallway, so my first impression was a bit over zealous. Sorry. But we are living the Edge.

It is strange, since it has taken seating away.

It is the Grand Cafe that is closed off.

That is the space. They are planning to something different with it.
  6. We are currently on Edge. They have closed down the Grand Cafe area next to the Martini Bar. I asked about it and they are looking at changing its use to perhaps to make the bar area larger. I guess that X is listening and realize the lack of a large before dinner venue with music is needed.

On some lines having separation of those in suites might be desirable. We have found that it is probably unnecessary with O, due to the clientele the line attracts. But that doesn't mean that O might not try it if it appears to be a bottom line enhancer.

I did like the separate dining rooms on the Edge and how they have a few unique items that are the same every day, but unique to the particular restaurant. Everything else in the menus are the same for each restaurant and change like they used to with just one MDR. I have to agree that with the smaller size of the Oceania ships, it really isn't needed.

What Not To Miss On The Edge!!

I thought thatdeck11 is all cabins. I will check it out; but can’t imagine where it is. It must be ina stairwell. I will be getting photos of the art in all the stairwells, so I hope it is there.

What Not To Miss On The Edge!!

I do wish that we had booked your cruise now, since there are some other folks that I would like to cruise with again on that one. But there are a lot of good folks on this one too. This should be a much more relaxing and enjoyable experience than our last one on the Edge. Two days is not enough time. Come to think of it, 7 isn't either. Maybe we will cruise with you on the Apex when it comes out.

Thanks for starting this thread. I have been making a list of pics I need to get and your recommendations reminded me of a few things I left off the list for our cruise starting on Sunday.

Absolutely, here is a link to their website: http://www.toptentours.eu Ask for Alex, he is great. You can see what we did with him when we were there in Oct 2014 on our website that is linked to in my signature.

I originally looked at Wikipedia. When you questioned the number, I also went to the O site. What's a 1,000 GRT among friends.

That is great news! You will be very happy with him. It was one our best tours ever. We will have Alex the next day for a Lisbon area tour, since we had previously seen Sintra with him.
