4 blocks is almost a cruise certificate 😉

I think we get 7 in 12 months. Then the dbl points thing ends😪

But September '22 and November '22 are wide open😁

I get 6 but no cruises from October to April Now we can get into Us, who knows. Might try and book another

If you just got a block, how do you get another 70 points by spending an upcoming week on Anthem?

I got 2 blocks on b2b on Anthem last month.

I was 8pts from a block. 8 night solo in a suite was 48. Second leg was also 8 nights in a suite.

That gave me 96 for the 2 cruises.

Well that answers the question I just asked on the other BOGO thread.  The new flyer says that BOGO is only available on night 1 which leaves out solo cruisers

Obviously differs from ship to ship. They offered it to me Anthem last week and the week before.

Go night 1 and please myself when I used the free one. I went to CK for 16 nights

I was wondering about capacity in October too. We’re on the 6 night sailing departing on the 9th and was hoping that it wouldn’t be too busy.

Speaking to some crew on board, they reckon it will be between 1000 and 1500. With the schools back it might be less. Watch school holidays would be my advice

My goodness that is a lot of unvaccinated kids!

Do you know when UK schools are back in session and the numbers of children are likely to drop back down?

I was thinking probably by the end of August, but maybe not?

As posted, different areas has different dates.

They said it was due to cancelling Northern Europe cruises they have jumped on this one and the next one.

Last week was 1200 inc. 200 kids.

This cruise we have 1510 inc. 310 kids. 100 didn't make it and we have 1380 crew.

Glad I'm getting off on Monday

Covid test was nasal only at Eurofins when we had ours.

Buffet was open for dinner from 18.00 - 20.30 on the 1st August cruise.

It was closed last week and this week. 1600 on board this week but they need upwards of 2000.

    2400 next week including 800 under 18's

I like the windjammer at night but closes a 3pm

From what I can see they have nothing at all in Devon and Cornwall, 2 in Bristol, none in Cardiff.

We've decided we will book our own at Boots, I believe RCL give OBC of £100 to cover this. I think you can get it any time within 72 hours but don't forget to allow time for the results.

I believe they have a Eurofins set up at Asda in Swansea. At the back near the car wash.

    @little britainmay confirm this

Hi, where have you been given for your Covid test?  We are booked on the 29th cruise and live in Perth.  Ideally we would like to take a few days to make our way to Southampton but might need to do the Covid test first.  Thanks and hope you enjoy your B2B.

I got an email and booked the Norton House Hotel in Edinburgh. I got 2.30 on Thursday.

I'm driving down after it. I'll stop for the night around Birmingham then head down to Southampton on Friday.

Download the TrustOne App for the result.

  9. Email just now regarding tests for under 18's

    Important Updates about Testing Requirements
We can't wait for you to join us on your upcoming Anthem of the Seas® cruise. As you get ready, we have updates to share regarding our testing & shore excursion requirements. Importantly, all guests age 2-17 are now required to present a negative PCR test result for COVID-19 on boarding day – this is in addition to all guests over 18 and is a change to the protocols which we shared with you previously. Lastly, all travel parties that wish to go ashore must purchase a local tour through Royal Caribbean.

Please note, all other health protocols remain unchanged. The following information is only for guests departing from Southampton on Anthem of the Seas. Below please review additional details regarding our new testing requirements.

Hi, I know the PCR test has to be within 72 hours, but is that 72 hours before sailing time or check in time or some other time?

I live in Herefordshire, as far as I can tell Eurofins has no testing facility anywhere near me. Is anyone who has been sent the PCR testing details able to search for locations in Herefordshire to put my mind at rest? We don’t sail until August 7th but it is a bit of worry to me about how far I may have to travel to get the test.

I take it they mean check in. I'm on the 7th cruise as well. I'm leaving Fife on Thursday to drive down. I' plan to stay in Birmingham and book a test at the Airport on Friday morning before travelling down to Southampton. My other option is Edinburgh Airport on Thursday afternoon.

I'll wait to see what Royal send out before I decide as it might change after July 19th

We had not received our information about a test prior to our cruise and we are on the 7th July sailing, I started to worry but after calling and being told we would receive an email soon eased up a bit. We had an email,  have been straight on and our tests are booked next Sunday 3 days before our sailing. The link took us straight to the web site and it was very easy to follow and book our tests. We had an email confirmation straight away. I think the delay and confusion is due to them having to reduce the number of passengers down to 1000.

Thanks for the info. Hope all goes good

I emailed the Eurofins address include in the RC email, they said 48 hours. I also phoned the travel agent where I am having the test, they said they are having two collections a day and they see most results within 24 hours. On that basis I booked the test 2 days before sailing and as early in the morning as I could.

Download the TrustOne app and click Royal Caribbean. Thats where to put the details and book when you get an email from Royal about 30 days out

I suppose it depends on your perspective, I live in Lincolnshire, a 40 minute drive each way counts as lots!

I'm leaving Edinburgh on 5th Aug and I'll stay the night in Birmingham. Birmingham Airport has a Eurofins, so I'll book that for Friday morning before heading down to Southampton for the cruise on the 7th.

As for the 15th cruise, I'll be tested on board

We know…. We have released 1600 twice after making the initial two bookings…. For the difference in price it was worth it….

But we can’t risk the implications… we are certain the cruise itself will go whether occupied by brits, Israelis, Russians or Cypriots or combination of all but the risk and cost of Amber is too big (for us)…. And if it went red….

1600 is gone on my ones but I have 1100 on both
