Your pics and post are making me excited my family is going on Radiance Southbound August 28th!! This will be our second Alaskan trip. And a side note if anyone is interested in trying Alaska on that particular sailing I just checked and the Interior Guarantees are $380pp!! Crazy price!!

I even question if they are cooking your fresh caught fish from their excursions because of health regulations? Maybe they have a specialized kitchen area that they use for that, now I am curious as to how they would handle that.
-
Just out of curiosity- because like I said we have our passports but anyway- what happens or what is the process if you have no passport and you miss a ship or you get injured and have to be flown out for emergency evacuation??
-
For the girls, you also need permission from the parents. Be sure to find out what forms are actually needed.

:D Pretty sure all of these "girls" are over 30 so not sure if the parents permission is needed :D

Warm layers, binoculars, the first time we went we booked a trip in to the Yukon and went to Emerald Lake, Carcross Desert, and we loved it.

I am on the side of strongly encouraging all those going to have their passport BUT on the other side of the coin after telling them what could happen I am not able to demand that they have to have it. I want them to know the risks but the end decision is up to them. I would never lie to them and say Yes you have to have them when in reality they don't.
For my family we all 4 have ours and we would never never dream of going out on a cruise without them.
Thank You everyone for the help :)

I tried to request a quote from his page and all I get is page closed  I may have to try it again
-
I am encouraging them to get them but I wanted to have the official info to give them so that they know exactly.
-
The question is not for me and my family (we have them already) but I am organizing a girls retreat and I am going to suggest that for the obvious reasons everyone should have a passport, but technical does the following on Harmony of the Seas need one?
Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Cruising
Labadee, Haiti
Falmouth, Jamaica
Cruising
Cozumel, Mexico
Cruising
Fort Lauderdale, Florida

So the only info I would need on the others going is the names and DOB? I thought maybe I would need socials or something of the like
-
Thank You guys for all the info!
-
My plan was to tell those going that I am going in August and those wanting to put down a reduced deposit I would need your money and info by XX date to take with me and then they would be able to continue from there with their payments on the rooms.
-
Can I make the reservations for those going in our group when I am on board? I guess what I am asking is if I can book all five rooms (or what ever the #) for the group or only mine? I know that I would need their info to take with me but I don't know if I can do that.
-
Because I could not find current information I am asking here so if this is repeat question I apologize. I have been on 3 prior cruises and am going on another in August but I have never purchased a cruise on board before. We are planning a girls getaway for 2017 on Harmony of the Seas. I know that we go to the Next Cruise desk to book them but what is the process and what is included? Reduced deposit and OBC??? Thanks for the help :)

I had no issues at all answering the poll, I to thought it was more of a what demographic style question because I could make 200,000 , live in a 1.5 million dollar home which I owe more than the value on, have 3- 50,000 vehicles, and be paying 2 college tuitions for our 2.5 children OR I could make 50,000 a year own my 100,000 home , drive my 2005 vehicle, and watch my grandbabies every afternoon. I would guess the 50,000 person would have more disposable income than the other but just me.
I think it has many variables.

Thank you guys for letting me know the cost, I am thinking we are going to pack more Wranglers. I like the idea of other choices but my guys will not wear anything else. :)
-
Does anyone know what it would cost to launder 6 pair of mens denim jeans? To help control the cost of baggage on our flights I wondered about only taking 6 pair of jeans for my guys. Cost effective or not?

LOL - ok I have to share a funny conversation I just had with the online TA, I have been checking back on the companies webpage to see if a second inside opened up at the $1148.06 all day and no luck, so I called my TA and left a voice message about wanting to switch back to an inside if one should open up. When I got home I again checked to see if one opened up and SCORE!!!!! So onto the phone I go to let her know I found one but this time she said she answered the phone to let me know she was worried I was going to have a stroke if she did not answer, LOL! Unknown to me she can see what I was checking all day so she knew I wanted another inside if it opened up. Made my day.
-
I checked this am with a different online TA then my normal mortar and brick one I use and on our Alaskan August 2015 trip we saved $2340. We were insides before and stayed with an inside on one room ($1148.06) and an OV ($2084.06) we wanted to get another inside but they were already gone by the time she went back to book it. Bummer but the OV was actually cheaper than the interior we had booked.

We took this 2 years ago this weekend and it was amazing! Had a great time.

Quick question, has anyone waited until you are at port to see if you can get a better deal on an excursion? For example if we could book a sightseeing tour of Juneau for $50 per person ahead of time, would it be possible to find a tour at the pier for $10 off per person instead from the same company or even another? Trying to see about savings for our family. Granted those tours we do not want to chance missing we will book ahead but just wondering about other options.
-
I would agree $5000 would go along way to another cruise, no pondering for me, take another cruise.
-
I have only flown a hand full of times so luckily I can say (knock on wood) I have not had any trouble with that yet the only thing I have ran into is a flight delay because of weather.
Price?? Am I doing something wrong?

The prices can change so drastically too - we originally booked an Alaskan at about 1100pp we got that reduced to 480pp and it is now at 380pp
