If you take the intercity, it will get you in less than 20 minutes to Schiphol.

As a D+ member, I was allowed into the Concierge Lounge on the Anthem in March.

Has excellent service on both Anthem & Allure in the last couple of months.

Nothing. Very possible she's dead heading to the U.K. after dry dock

Why shoud they do that?

I never print luggage tags. When I arrive at the pier I give the porter my cabin # and i'm good to go.

I am a D+ member, but I have also sailed on NCL, Celebrity, Carnival, MSC & Princess. I just like trying other things.

Same here. Have also sailed Costa & and a couple of times on Hal. In September and February on MSC. Just love to mix the cruise lines.

MSC's new Meraviglia's first cruise, a 7 night on 4th June from Le Havre to Genoa is being offered for $477 for a balcony. Something wrong its that cheap. Wish I had seen that earlier.

Most probably it's a repo cruise.

Had an inside on deck 4 on the Radiance and there was nothing wrong with it. You will love the location.

One possibility is that we have down here in the ABC islands vacation that week, and lot of people fly to Florida to go to Disney and or on a cruise...flights are packed.

The other day I wrote that I liked the Quantum Class better than the Oasis Class.I just loved my cruise on the Anthem! simply an amazing ship. Really don't understand all the negativity about the Quantum Class. According to the captain on the Anthem -sooner or later-one will be based in Florida.

Harmony comes in around $1000 for an interior balcony which I seldom use and 11 nights on the Equinox around the same price for an inside.

Which one would you choose? price comes in around $1000 for Harmony for a (interior) balcony which i seldom use or same price for an inside on the Equinox. Will ask on the Celebrity board as well.

I have doubts about "most people"....

No, you are not crazy. Just came back from Anthem & Allure and have noticed that the WJ on both ships were excellent. Since Anthem was the first I took, I commented to the WJ mgr that they have the best WJ in the fleet only to find out that the one on the Allure was also top notch. I have noticed also that more and more people are using it at night for dinner.

It is supposed to be 1 app, 1 entree and 1 dessert. I also have been multiple times on a cruise and when I mentioned I have having a hard time deciding between two apps they said not to worry and brought both.

 

No idea if it is common of if they were just being nice since that was the third time they had seen us that week.

That was exactly what happened.

Whatever you wanted ? Multiple entrees? I was wondering if you could, we like to try different things

Yes! multiple whatever I wanted!!

I went 4 times in a week. At $12 that it was a steal. After the 2nd night I was able to order whatever I wanted from the menu..

I guess with so many cruise lines sending their ships over to Asia/Australia region, the market is becoming (over) saturated.

Of all the 7 cruise lines I have sailed, I will put Carnival at no 7! I haven't been since Jan 2014 on a Carnival ship, because I could see a difference in almost everything. They were cheapening the overall experience. That being said, I will check the Vista later this year or early next year before she moves to Galveston. The prices aren't so much cheaper either in comparison with other cruise lines. Btw I'm Platinum on Carnival, so I have been on quite some cruises before I made my conclusion.

But maybe she will get the drydock in Asia...

Wonder if this comes into play with the cancelled TA of Indy that we discuss here?!:confused:

In order to get to Asia, she will need to make the eastbound TA anyways and highly doubt that she will go to Asia, since Mariner is coming back to the States.

I recently spoke to someone who has been on the Splendor and she told that she was totally disappointed in the food. Same food every day. My last cruise on Carnival was back in 2014 on the Sunshine, and I ate every night in one of the specialties restaurant and it was a great experience.
