  1. FYI we did a B2B in April and bid on both, found out the day before boarding that we were unsuccessful on both of them. Not surprised, cruises are sailing full and certain categories book up early.
  2. We Uber, but can be very busy and we've been cancelled once or twice because it can take quite a while for them to get to the pick up point.
  3. Its usually applied within 24-48 hours. I get an updated booking confirmation that shows its been added.
  4. I've requested a mattress topper on a few of my Princess cruises. Usually on the second day as the first day is so hectic for the stewards and only if needed.
  5. Have you tried logging in with your booking # and not your email and password?
  6. The accessory is a bright blue clip to hold the Medallion, and mine was in the cabin when I boarded. Similar to the ones the staff wear. Really enjoyed my upgrade perks and had photos taken for the first time in years.
  7. Not positive but I'll find out Oct 29th. I know its not available before boarding but hoping they will take them after. Otherwise I'll either try and go at an off time or just wait for a bit.
  8. What ship was that? I had no problem beginning of September on the Crown but I was the first to upgrade.
  9. I upgraded as soon as I boarded because I wanted to use my OBC and had purchased the insurance. Enjoyed the Crown Grill and Sabatinis, Salty Dog Gastropub and Vines were excellent. I was on the Crown and tried a few cocktails over the $15 limit the Salted Watermelon Margarita was very good. A little disappointed the Rose I’d seen posted was not available at Vines but the regular one was fine. I am still not comfortable going to packed shows in the theatre so skipped it this cruise as well. Bonus no Covid during or after 100 + days since last February. I did not win anything on Princess Prizes but the host in the casino took very good care of me so no complaints there. I am booked again on the Crown end of October and have already upgraded and made my specialty dining reservations, On the prior cruise I called the dine line very soon after embarking and was able to get the days and times I requested with no issues. Salty Dog was very busy the night I went so had a bit of a wait going forward I will probably make a reservation. I thought it was good value especially on my shorter cruises. .
  10. The TV in your cabin will have the menus and which dining room is open for breakfast and lunch. The remote can take some getting used to accessing what you want and the menus may not be 100% accurate but very close.
  11. I leave my items on the hangers and cover them with a plain dry cleaning bag, hang asap in the closet and never had any issues with wrinkling including my husband's dress shirts.

  13. I disembarked September 15th and Princess put a hold on my account on the 13th. The amount owing has been paid in full but the pending charge is still there 9 days later, which seems excessive. Will try contacting them but thought I'd check and see if this is standard but I don't recall any lasting more than 4 or 5 days.
  14. I just keep tapping the log in button, it eventually gives up and lets me in. On the rare occasion I’m still locked out I use my booking number, name and DOB.
  15. It was Plus but I think I was the first passenger to upgrade to Premier on boarding 😃
  16. It’s just the way it reads. If you go into the app choose your medallion and click on the icon it will show you the details. Color probably won’t change until it’s shipped, and no one looks at the QR code when boarding. So you will just go straight to green.
  17. Lots of people are reporting receiving these, oddly they seem to be for specific months so probably an internal issue with their accounting department.

First I stop at Good Times for a beer and Clamato and a snack from the IC, then since I already know where my Muster station is I swing by there then head to the cabin to meet my Steward and unpack while watching the video. Head to the casino to meet the hosts then up to Sky Walkers for sail away, then Vines and dinner. Can't wait!
  19. I'll find out on Tuesday but I expect when I board mine will revert back to Plus. Otherwise the lines at Guest Service will be a mile long with passengers insisting they have Premier when they really don't.
  20. It sure is. I am in Canada and today I have a checkmark that shows I've chosen to have my medallion shipped to the port, that was gone for weeks now its back. I know I don't need it or the bar code but it is updating on its own timeline as usual 😀
  21. Then you have Princess Plus. My Summary does not list the casual dining, or any of the other additions. Those are listed in my App under Packages. Which like many others is wrong because it says I have the Premier package for my cruise next week, which I don't. Yet. But I do have the Premier for one of my cruises. The Medallion Net is correct for my cruise on Tuesday it shows I have 1 device. For my next cruise which I upgraded it says I have 4 which is also correct. And I guess you've deleted cookies, uninstalled and reinstalled, turned it off for a few hours made sure all updates are current? You have your screen shot of the plan you purchased or were gifted? Then you should be good to go. Its just wonky and frustrating, but honestly I love it once onboard.

  23. I’ve had a Canada/Us plan for years with no issues. I use Facebook messenger and FaceTime to keep in touch with family. My plan covers Hawaii but not Alaska, so if Hawaii is your destination maybe double check with your provider to make sure you will be covered. Port days I make sure I am connected to a tower before making calls etc and enable the ships wifi about an hour or so before departure. I have an older smartphone and occasionally after getting off the ship in ports I have to turn my phone off and on to order an Uber might be just a me issue though. I am with Telus and asked if I could use wifi calling and was told no, so you may want to confirm you will be able to.
  24. We love Long Beach airport but just a heads up if you are checking bags you have to exit the terminal and pick them up off the conveyor outside. There are luggage carts available I just don't know how far they extend the wheel chair assistance. We are not at that point yet, but I grab our bags and then wait for my husband to catch up near the street where we then go and grab our Uber.
