    How strong is the alcohol

I agree, i drink it for the flavor. However i can i usually tell if they use well drinks versus a second tier alcohol. If you think it's light get a shot of the alcohol that it is it and add it in front of them. But honestly i don't think they pour light. The servers and bartenders all know it could affect their tips. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy 7 edge using Tapatalk.

    Off topic from fashion.......

Thank you so much. I have tried live my life as an honest and respectful manner and it is reassuring to hear that it was noticed and appreciated. [emoji4] After i got home we asked about the respite care. They checked my insurance and found a bed for me in the main house... by 6pm Monday i was transported and all settled into a bed. I've been resting here ever since. The place is very nice, large private rooms and everyone has a patio to go out on to. The food isn't bad either. It's good to know that when i get really sick that they'll be taking care of me and spoiling me. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy 7 edge using Tapatalk.

    My favorite cruise breakfast----what's yours?

There are lots of other low carb dishes on the ship as well. I used to get my eggs Benedict without the emulate muffin... very delicious, especially if they offer seafood options. quiche without the crust as well. Another favorite for me. Nice choice. I guess i should update... i continued to have multiple issues since getting this cough and could not start chemo or get my radiation. I ended up back in the hospital for a few days this week and decided to officially go into hospice. I am doing out patient care and signed the paperwork today. They provided an ambulance transport to get me home this afternoon and came out to my house to make sure I'm set up with everything i need. Monday I'll get to meet my actual nurse and case manager. Everything went so smooth and hassle free today that I'm feeling pretty confident about this decision. I have the right to leave it at any time if i wish and then return later. Holland America's "soda fountain beverage card"

If you don't spend $25 they also refund the difference at the end. So you'll always break even. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy 7 edge using Tapatalk.

Holland America's "soda fountain beverage card"

I always get mine with no ice added to the cup. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy 7 edge using Tapatalk.

Holland America's "soda fountain beverage card"

Just for others that may be reading this now and curious. They do mean specifically soda fountain drinks (from the bar tenders gun) and not a can. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy 7 edge using Tapatalk.

Dancing with the Stars Fall 2016 Gowns and more

I absolutely loved Sharna's dress. It caught my eye instantly. Such a gorgeous teal, the cut was so flowy and the embellishments were not to fancy but not boring. I would wear that. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy 7 edge using Tapatalk.
  9. Awesome photos! In glad you had a good time. Now go plan some more cruises... I'm at a point i can not travel anymore. I vote we can reverse it but for now is become impossible due to complications with my most recent attempt at radiation on one of the spots. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy 7 edge using Tapatalk.

Bad Carnival excursion they won't post

Do you have a copy of what you wrote that was rejected? I'm curious as to why they would have stopped it unless there was specific in it they didn't approve of. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy 7 edge using Tapatalk.

    mobility scooter in winter

Snow, ice, water and the salt/ melt in the ground are all very bad for the scooter. It will also drain faster in the cold. I've used my scooter at the zoo in winter to see the lights and it did go down quicker. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy 7 edge using Tapatalk.

To those that insist on using hand sanitizer

This is only about household soaps. They are still saying that hand sanitizer has uses and institutional anti bacterial soaps are good as well. But hand sanitizer still doesn't kill everything, good old fashioned hand washing is the way to go. I've always been the natural route myself. In Asian countries the masks are not to protect from germs, it's from pollution. The cities and streets are barely breathable and bad die the lungs, especially in hot weather... so many people wear masks to try and negate the damage. 13. On the Veendam in 2014 i had an incident where I was badly in need of a massage for some pain relief. I have cancer and made that very clear when i called and scheduled, they told me it wasn't going to be an issue (many places have a no cancer patient rule). I went down ready to feel better, checked in and they got me all the way through check in, undressed and on to a table. That's when they decided to decline my massage... by this point i was emotionally wrecked. They had led me from thinking all was going well to wasting my time and putting me through a difficult task (changing into robes) for nothing. I got nothing from them but a brick wall, no serious apology or even an offer to make it up to me. I left the spa almost in tears, visibly upset. A couple on the elevator with me noticed and stopped to ask me if i was okay. They took the time to listen to me, talk to me and confort me and even walked with me back to my room. It was so touching that strangers actually cared. We ended up being seated with them at a future dinner and they still remembered me and made sure i was doing better. It's refreshing to know there are good people still in this world and that humanity hasn't completely lost. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy 7 edge using Tapatalk.
  14. Definitely take a long gown if you like it. I wear long on HAL and I'm only 46. You'll blend in just fine. :) Sent from my Samsung Galaxy 7 edge using Tapatalk.

    Fake eyelashes: Everyday now?

Remember a lot of mascara out there is now designed to lengthen. I use Benefits They're Real and have been asked if they were real. Then you've got the fiber based ones by IT Cosmetics, Younique and other brands. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy 7 edge using Tapatalk.
