Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We have a Saturday flight at 12:30. Would it be better to get a Taxi or Uber/Lyft to get to Long Beach International? Also, are Taxis in a separate area than Uber/Lyft? Thanks
  2. Thanks, I too have a 12:30 flight from the Carnival Terminal. We are disembarking the Panorama on a Saturday. Do taxis and Uber/Lyft pick up at the same location? We departing from Long Beach Intl?
  3. We will be sailing on the Panorama on the March 2nd departure and returning on March 9th 2024. Somewhat off topic but I was wondering if anyone has information regarding the time of arrival at Long Beach and the start of disembarkation on the first sailing back from repairs? BTW after 35 cruises on most of the lines we found the Panorama to one of our favorite ships. We sailed March 2023 and found the entertainment very high quality throughout the ship and the food to be just as good as Princess or NCL. Perhaps we're easier to please and look for the positives! Thanks
  4. Port Valet service was excellent. We were on NCL Sun in September 2023. Southwest offers a free transfer. Southwest provides luggage tags and Boarding passes. We placed out luggage outside cabin at 10 and picked up bags at our airport. No problems and we did not have to handle any luggage.
  5. Great Review! We are not brand specific but just returned from Alaska 9/13-9/22 on NCl.. 9 days from Seattle. Have done NCL, Princess, Celebrity and Royal all over the Globe. Have 25+ cruises under our belt and yes Seniors. Don't do suites but mostly balcony depending on Itinerary. All lines have benefits..i.e drinks, dinner, gratuities AD NAUSEUM. We generally look for decent reviews on food, entertainment, cabin location and customer service. We have never had a cruise that failed totally in All of those categories. We look for limited encounters with fellow guests and on occasion will have pleasant conversations over a drink or your too close dinner table mates. When we return from a cruise we Always parse the pros and cons of the most recent cruise and by the next week looking to Book another adventure! Happily retired!
  6. Thanks to all with their input. I feel much more comfortable now thanks to ALL the great Cruise Critic readers!!
  7. Thanks for your reply. When your appointment time came did you just join the Link? Did they come on and walk you through the test? How soon did you receive your results? Thanks Again
  8. We are traveling and will take the Inspire test from our hotel the day before we board. We have completed the registration and do just follow the link to be monitored for the test? Thanks
  9. Thanks and you are correct. However, I see the topic is already covered and will withdraw my post:
  10. We are flying to the West Coast on a late flight and would like to find a way to explore NYC and not have
  11. We are flying in to NYC from California 2 days early to site see. We will then board the Breakaway on the 9/18/22 for a 7 day cruise of Canada/New England. Will we still need to get a Covid test before embarcation under the new guidelines. We are full vaccinated and boosted? I'm confused. Thanks
