  1. I looks like the day it was "never going to happen" has arrived 🙂 https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/cruises/2018/12/12/oasis-seas-giant-cruise-ship-begin-trips-new-york-area/2289224002/ https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruises/?departureCode_BYE=true&ecid=em_11481331&ect=TAC&ecv=&emct=PLATINUM&empc=RCIN_SEPTOA_19&empf=&emsc=RCIN_SEPTOA_0919_EA_NE_CS_US&lnkid=MAIN_HERO_IMG&oabonus=undefined&rcid=92351879&rid=641573347&shipCode_OA=true Sorry, I know I am late to the party on this.
  2. I see, thank you. That is the one thing Royal has on Celebtriy, you can sleep more people in the suites. On Mariner we had two in each bedroom (2 bedroom suite) and one on the pullout.
  3. I was wondering if someone can tell me how many bedrooms in the Penthouse Suite on the Infinity? We are a group of 5, and hope to have two people in each bedroom, and one on a pullout couch. Thank you!
  4. Royal is not know for their beer selection. If you look at the menu above, it reflects mostly the mainstream stuff. They should step up their game.
  5. I wonder what they mean by entertainment changes. Perhaps more, and also a greater variety of live music in the lounges at night?
  6. I think they are going to do a suite. A guaranteed suite is a little less than $4k total.
  7. They are crowds (not wall to wall people, but lively bars, etc.), they like both entertaining and socializing, and I don't think they care much about excursions. They might even just stay on the ship and drink at certain ports if they aren't too exciting,
  8. Just checked, it's May. Definitely going to advise Equinox now as it will essentially be brand new.
  9. So it sounds like Princess has a greater variety of entertainment?
  10. You said in your original reply that the Equinox is due to be revolutionized in June. I do not think this is correct, as she is cruising all of June.
  11. Interesting, so it would be one of the last cruises before she went into dry dock.
  12. My parents and their friends are interested in their first ever cruise. They all live in Fort Lauderdale, so it is fairly easy for them to get to the port, etc. They would like to go in June of this year. Everyone is in their early 60's, and still enjoy partying. They like to hang out at the bars, drink, listen to live music, etc. They also prioritize good food and quality cocktails. I have narrowed it down to either the Caribbean Princess or Celebrity Equinox. Which do you think would be best to get them hooked on cruising, and why?
  13. Thank you! Glad to hear that the bar in that area will be getting more use now.
  14. During the current drydock of Caribbean Princess, they will be adding a feature called "Splashpad with Whale Feature". What will this be replacing on the deck?
