  1. We are on Sky Princess with a passenger capacity of 3660. I am sure just about everyone would want to get off the ship at most British Isle Ports. The logistics to move that many people would be problematic with out the help of local tour companies.
  2. PRINCESS CRUISE FAN i did see the Tattoo Excursion listed earlier but more recently it seems to have been removed. I looked under Glasgow in my Shore Excursion Cruise Planner and it’s not there. If you still see it can you send me the link <pgrupe@verizon.net>. I bought tickets for the 2020 Tattoo with a group of 8 taking a private excursion to the Tattoo and since it was cancelled they let me re-book for 2021 which I did last month. When I entered their Ticket Portal there was a diagram of the stadium indicating what seats were available. More then half were blacked ou
  3. This cruise is port intensive with 8 ports of call. I went through all of the shore excursion Princess has listed and picked out one for each day in port. The total for 2 people is $3700. I booked a private excursion from Portland to Stonehenge and Salisbury. Cost was $122 for both of us. The same excursion through Princess is $340.
  4. Have a 12 day British Isles Cruise scheduled for August 6, 2021 on Sky Princess which was a re-booking for an August 20, 2020 cruise that was cancelled. In anticipation of our 2020 cruise we booked shore excursions at each port with private tour companies to include a trip to the Edinburg Military Tattoo from Glasgow. After the cancelation we re-booked the same cruise for 2021 and went to each of the private tour operators and rescheduled each of them for 2021 rather then seeking a refund. Now I am hearing that once cruise lines re-start that the only way passengers can leave the ship while
  5. HAL has a B2B option from Copenhagen August into September. First leg covers your popular Baltic Ports returning to Copenhagen. Second leg from Copenhagen goes to Oslo and then cruises several Fjords returning to Copenhagen. You can book either leg separately or book it as a single 17 night cruise. Seems like a good option. Never cruised on Hal. It’s their newest Ship (2018).
  6. Looking at a Baltic Cruise from Copenhagen to Copenhagen with Princess July or August 2021. While we are in the Neighborhood we would like to see some of the Norwegian Fjords. Trying to arrange back to back cruises form Copenhagen is proving to be impossible. Looking for suggestions. Peter
  7. Princess offers two unlimited internet options, one device for $9.99 a day and four devices for $14.99 a day. Between my wife and I we have two phones and two iPads. If we purchase the one device option can we switch which device has internet access. We will use one at a time but would like to be able to access the internet using all four at various times. Peter
  8. Our TA booked us from Rome to Dulles through Frankfurt. The Rome to Frankfurt leg is on Lufthansa which allows one checked bag and a carry-on with 17.6 pound limit. Our second leg is on their partner airline United which allows two checked bags (we have preferred economy this leg). Since our carry-on will exceed the weight limit after 3 weeks of shopping, I would like to check our carry-on in Rome. This will be an extra checked bag for our first leg. What is the cheapest way to check an extra bag on Lufthansa? Can't see where you can do it on line. Is it done at the airport at check in
  9. Thanks for the suggestions. Sounds like cafe al Bacio is a good option. Since you guys are familiar with the Edge I have another question. In Santorini we are taking a group charter with Olympic Traveler. The group size is 18 max. and are all from the Edge. We are to meet our driver at 9:15 where the tender docks. It seems best if we can all arrange to be on the same tender. What is the best way to go about that? Is each passenger given a boarding number based on cabin type and or Celebrity Status or is it first come first off? Should we all meet as a group and then get in line? Many
  10. On an upcoming Amalfi Coast Greet Isle Cruise (October) I have organized three private excursions with the same group of 12 people. I feel it would be best if we all met an established location before leaving the ship so we could meet up with our tour as a group. Is anyone familiar enough with the ship to suggest a good meeting location that is convenient to where you disembark? Peter
