  1. Holy crap. If you did that, I’d point you out to my husband, he’d end up trying to be your best friend the remainder of the cruise, and I’d keep saying “YES, I haven’t seen Last Jedi yet so shut up”.

LOL! I am seriously thinking of emailing NCL to ask...

  2. Pssssstttttt..... I totally know what you’re referencing. (Saw your profile pic so I had to check you out. Hello brigade!)

LOL Not many on the Forum have gotten it..... wondering if I can wear my armor to the white hot party lol (if they still have that)

  3. Worse, parents now defend the misbehavior of their children because their children are always the exception. As is evidence by the fact that everyone comes out of the woodwork on CC to defend children any time someone on CC says that children should be treated different than adults. When discussing the loss of the freestyle deck on the NCL lines I even had one person attack me because people shouldn't be nude and that it was a family cruise line. Thus, no more freestyle deck.

    As for the Haven -

Doesn't look like they are marketing it as a children's playground.

Actually in the video there are kids in the pool...and oh my god...they look like they are playing......:eek:... and honestly it looks like there is a dad just sitting there watching the kids in the pool.... just sayin....

  4. Kids shouldn’t be allowed in the haven pool area. That’s why there are slides and pools on the pool deck. Or put the kids in the kids programs, we pay to relax in peace not listen to your kids splashing and taking up the spas in the haven area.

And I pay to have a vacation with my kids.....

  5. I think my concern with Haven is that it can be hit or miss. If it weren't for a couple of terrible parents, the Haven would have been a sanctuary. But I'm not willing to roll the dice on that in the future. I'd prefer to book a sure thing. I sailed in February, hardly spring break or summer, and kids outnumbered adults 2:1 in the Haven. It was often so loud, so obnoxious, that we simply grabbed our things and left. That's not the sanctuary we were sold and we definitely wouldn't risk it again when there are other lines that offer a "sure thing" and substantially better product for less money. We have options, and the other options are quite simpy, better.

Was it Presidents week when most schools are closed? That would be just like booking during spring break or summer.....

  6. We were in an aft on Epic and loved it! We didn’t find the walk to the Haven to be a big deal. We’re booked in an aft on deck 9 of the Breakaway next year. We can’t WAIT for that huge balcony-planning to have breakfast there every morning, as well as a dinner or two. I think we’ll be spending tons of time out on our balcony, as opposed to other areas of the ship, including the actual Haven courtyard.

I'm really thinking of changing to the Aft room lol, they currently have one on deck 15 :)

  7. Sooooo I might switch to an Aft Haven room...... any thought positive or negative between the Forward penthouse and the aft?

I know the Aft room will have a larger balcony for one....

Really wanted to get a room right in the Haven area but the prices were higher then I wanted to pay lol

  8. As of 9:30 in the morning couldn't find a chair anywhere. Pool area nowhere near big enough to accommodate the passenger count. Pj has some good advice I'd say with using the bench. The waterfront is also a good spot if you don't need the actual pool.

Sounds Like I am going to be glad I have the Haven pool to use....
