  3. This is our second time having a cruise paid for with gift cards cancelled, so I know how it happens, but I agree that waiting to get your gift cards refunded is nerve racking.
  4. It must be your TA that imposes this restriction. I've paid for all of our cruises (including Fun Shop purchases) since the return from the pandemic with Gift Cards.
  5. It is charged to your onboard account through your Sign and Sail (room key) card.
  6. When I played with them and won a bet the dealer paid the bet and exchanged the fun play chip for an equal denomination. As an example, a $5 Fun Play Chip bet on a roulette number that hit straight up paid $175, and the dealer collected the fun play chip then paid out $180 for me to continue playing with, or collect.
  7. On the last cruise I had "fun Play Credits" I had to go to the casino cage and claim them. Like you read, I also read that I needed to bring the e-mail or mailer that stated the offer, but I was never asked to present anything when I went to the casino cage, and they had my name on their list of cruisers that were due "Fun Play". At the cage, they offered to either load the funds on my sign and sail card for use in the slots, or they would give me "fun play chips" for the table games. I took the chips, which are not the same as casino chips. The "fun play chips" cannot be exchanged for cash, and could only be used to play at the tables. I managed the use of the chips by always taking any winnings, which are paid out in standard casino chips, and only playing with them until they were gone. That was my experience, but yours may vary.
  8. Yes, any On Board Credit you receive from promotions or as compensation for other issues should automatically be applied to your Sign and Sail account, and will be used to pay for purchases (including specialty dining) before any cash or credit card you used to pre-fund your account. I would suggest you take a copy of your booking invoice or other correspondence that shows you received On Board Credit with you on your cruise in the rare occasion that it isn't applied to your account when you board.
