We had the Plus package on our 1st cruise last year. For us it was a no-brainer.  I budget tightly at home (YNAB for the win!) and we splurge on vacation.  On that cruise we had 2 specialty dinners and bought a $99 photo package on the last day.  Photos aren’t usually our thing, but they got some great shots of us that would be nice to use at our funerals some day (we know our youngest daughter has secretly started a folder). We booked our 2nd cruise a week after returning home and got 2 other couples to join us.  We’re all excited to try out the new Sun Princess.  This time we purchased Premier because we know we’ll want to do a couple specialty dinners again as well as casual dining (which wasn’t available on the CB last July), plus we’ll have a lot of fun with the photographers with this group, and my BFF and favorite sister-in-law will drag me to the fitness classes daily, something I never managed to get to last time.  We also accidentally exceeded the Plus pkg drink prices a few times last year, but dang those Old Fashioneds were worth it!  Premier math made sense for this trip, and we liked walking off the ship last year with a tiny bill (thank you TA OBC, and stock benies). Personally we would never not do a package but we all cruise differently so it’s nice to have options!

I know the Old Fashioned is  the Wisconsin state drink but what is the state bird?😀

i am under the impression that the jewelry stores onboard are a lease so cruise line collects the rent or maybe they also get a percent of the sales?

Like the vast majority of casino gamblers I rarely win big....in my experience it is a rare person that ultimately leaves a casino with more $$ than when they arrived and will ultimately plow it back into more gambling.  But good luck to you

The vast majority should say their going losing instead of gambling.🎰😩

Your clients Zenith membership just got better

If the audience of this flyer is TA’s then it should read:  Your clients’ Zenith memberships just got better…assuming the TA has more that one client. Or Your client’s Zenith membership just got better…assuming they only have one client.

Typos are one thing…but published flyers?

All that to say, good news for Zenith members!

And your commisions will go down since there based on total price.

You don't check them out and you can get more than one.  I usually get two.  It's also easy to return them in various places near the pool deck.  If you keep one in your room or take one on shore, be sure to return or you may be charged.

    Thank You

If this is all your TA is providing to you, then yes, book direct is advisable.

Our TA usually has fares 15% to 20% lower than booking direct, which is the value proposition for us and others here, as well.

    bon voyage

In Chicago LSD stands for Lake Shore Drive.

I have been called a cheerleader but never once defended Celebrity on the butler issue as never sailed in suites, no intention of doing, so none of my business. I post here far less than before because I was boring myself and no doubt others with repeat posts on repeat threads, no other reason than that. Maybe other cheerleaders are doing the same as me.

After our cruises next month on the Edge is a SS we are done with Celebrity too. I wrote emails to the CEO about the lack of butlers and how the Team is a joke. All we got was a phone call from an underling and NO OFFER of any compensation. Celebrity has cheapened their product while at the same time raised pricing as high as 40% more. My post cruise survey was all 1 and 2 ratings on butler service, room service and again no response. If we hadn't already paid for our airfare for Australia, we would have canceled and booked with another cruise line. Our air to Australia was over $9K so we have no choice but to go.

After your next Celebrity cruise will you continue posting on this forum?
