  1. Thanks for the suggestion - do you know if there’s a delivery service to the airport as an alternative?
  2. Our flight leaves mid-afternoon and it doesn’t appear there are any debarkation excursions offered by Princess. Are there any luggage storage / transfer to the airport options available at the port to free us up from our bags for the day?
  3. So we have this included as part of our package deal, and I’m told we don’t have to use all 60 mins in one go... Is it fairly straight forward to see how to connect and then disconnect to save the minutes for another day?
  4. Exactly the same situation and disappointment as you, especially when the website headline on Cuba says there will be compensation for the inconvenience. Completely agree that passing the port tax saving on should be a given, not a goodwill gesture. I asked this all be fed back, but there doesn’t seem to be anything else on offer to compensate for the value of the overnight in Havana being lost and I felt like they just wanted to cut the conversation off with me at this point... the customer service niceties seemed to dwindle when I pushed the point that they weren’t really offering the compensation advertised.
  5. Now weighing up whether to stick with this cruise now there’s no more Havana...
  6. The website implies there’ll be some compensation for the inconvenience... but sounds like there might be some chasing up to do on that!!
  7. No contact yet here, keen to understand what the options are!
  8. I genuinely don’t know. Has there been an iron related incident on another cruise line?
  9. Interestingly, they've not taken any of the Havana itineraries off sale...
  10. We were due an overnight too, booked on Richard’s Birthday Bash. It’ll really depend on what the new itinerary is for us... if it includes somewhere we’ve not been and would like to go, e.g. Key West, we’d probably still be interested, but if it’s somewhere we’ve been multiple times, e.g. Nassau, then we’d probably seriously think about cancelling. Part of our justification for going ahead with a pricier cruise was the overnight in Havana though, so another port, even if a new one for us, might not feel like it has the same “value” for us...
  11. I’d like to have the option to consider, Havana was a key reason we booked too.
  12. I think you’re right. I suspect we might end up with an overnight at the Beach Club in Bimini...
  13. Contacted Virgin - TBC on what this means for those of us with existing bookings...
