    Hi In your opinion do you think the sailings will go back to not being as full once the FCC are all used up? Also when are most expiring?? I don't have any so don't know. Thanks Kathy
  4. Hello I am booked and I paid for all except $150 ( on purpose) a cruise that final payment date is not until mid September. There is a specific cabin I would like to switch to. In your opinion if people were to cancel this cruise and TA were to release them how far before that date would they do it? Yes I know I can switch cabins after final payment with my PVP. Just wondering. Thank you Kathy
  5. I didn't really want to write this and hear everyone telling me I am wrong. I was on the Caribbean in CC for 2 weeks in December/January. I became pretty close to my cabin steward and the floor supervisor. I would like to tell you this. It is 110% Princess fault not enough help. I What's App to them or them me every other day or every day. I knew what was wrong with the plumbing issue cause I ask my friend the supervisor. The cabin steward got off in MARCH. He did not want to leave they made him saying this "there are others waiting to get on and work". He has wanted back on for months. Their are a lot like him. He is in India. He was by far the best cabin steward I have ever had. They are working these people to death giving them twice as many rooms. He needs the money for his family. He has worked for Princess for 16 years. As previously said he didn't want to get off in March he wanted to extend his contract. It isn't about not finding the help it is Princess not hiring to bring people back or allowing them to extend their contracts. Some are leaving but not because they want to it is to go to other companies. Kathy
  6. I live in Ft. Lauderdale. Please don't be frightened or worry. This thing is going to only be a wind and rain maker. Highest winds they are predicting for us in FTL is gusts and squalls of up to 35mph. Going to be worst rain and wind tonight and in the morning gone by Sunday. When Sandy hit Boston a few years ago I was on a RCCL ship. They had tugs holding us against the pier and we were delayed sailing for 2 days. You are all going to be good. It isn't even raining here now and no wind.......... If anything changes on our news I will post Kathy

  8. Hi I became very close to the floor supervisor on CC Dolphin deck and the steward. We What's app all the time. I just sent him a note. He said the ship is full. I told him about some of the things you guys said and about not enough staff etc. I am positive he will do what he can to try and help with some of the things with the proper people on board and tell them about the issues. I asked if they are still keeping a Covid section blocked off and he said yes Best wishes Kathy

  10. I must be stupid but here is something I do not comprehend. If the key word is Princess Vacation Planner and we are on a Princess Cruise as a Princess customer attempting to book a Princess Cruise why on earth does it matter if we use their name?? Is it a secret? Do they have something to hide? I can understand with a TA but why one of their own. If people get fed up enough they will end up going to TA and Princess will have to pay the probably higher commissions. Like I said I do not comprehend
  11. I know you used to get a lot of OBC because you said you did on these threads. I know MR never gave me a thing. I booked long cruises and was always unhappy with her but kept her because she did what I asked. I was planning to replace her and had this new person picked out. I have to wonder if this has to do with the fact that if the VP takes over a booking from another planner that made the booking they get nothing. I would think if the original planner is gone and the cruise is not paid in full the new planner should get it after paid in full. How I know is I just paid over $12000 for a CC mini, airfare, hotel for 2 days before and because he didn't book it the the new man gets nothing. I don't think that is fair. What is your thoughts on that?

  13. I didn't give you initials we emailed you and I back and forth and I gave you his direct phone number and his email??? He told me you never contacted him so how could you never click???. I asked him a few weeks after when I gave you his info and I wanted to be sure you were helped. You told me then you were going to wait to see if the new one assigned to you by Princess was any good. I also had one after MR I was assigned and did not like them so I asked around and got the one I gave you and am very happy. He calls back or emails me as soon as I contact him.

  15. You cannot pick a time and date and where Princess does that once you connect with them. They tell you all that info. It is easy to figure out the number of people all you do is design a spread sheet and & have those that wish to attend sign up. You then near the end tell Princess. Your really only have one job is to ensure everyone on your roll call knows about it. Some people like to do more for the event but that is all that is required. I just cancelled the one I was going to host as I got some not so nice posts about what I was going to do for the group Best wishes

  19. Before you tell me to call Medicare and United Health Care I already have and cannot get straight answers. I am NOT talking about Medicare Advantage Plans I have straight Medicare and a Plan N from United Health Care. It is second to highest I think all supplements sell. They all must be same. I cannot find or get answers to this question. Do they cover international travel AND on cruise ships. And do they have the feature of flying you home if needed?? Only interested if you have used or know first hand. Thank you Kathy
  20. Guys I live in FTL and here is what I would suggest. First of all it depends on the price of the airfare between the two airports. I would never ever fly MIA unless I have to which is usually International. You have I95 which is a pain and always has some kind of accident or police involved episode. I think renting a car is simply too much trouble and too much running around. If you fly into FTL take and Uber or Lyft to one of the hotels on the 17th St Causeway, liquor stores, Publix, Covid shots, CVS and Walgreens you can walk to within blocks and Free Shuttles to the port 10 minutes away. I am all about ease and no hassles. Any questions ask. I have lived half my life here and I am now an old bat................lol Kathy
  21. I would call the PVP dept not any one person. If you push zero you will get the customer service people in that dept. I think they will help you. They are always nice
  22. If any of you have a problem with your cabins and you can't get help or help from the front desk post to me. I have become good friends with one of the floor supervisors since I was on for 2 weeks in December. I What's App him all the time & he to me and we talk on the phone. He is very very nice. I can do it for you or even call him. But only a real problem please Kathy
