  1. Sailed with Carlos a few times, excellent concierge! Nice gentleman....
  2. I think the Jewel class ships are the perfect size- the Gem is my favorite. My dream ship would definitely include the Spinnaker lounge at the front of the ship. The game shows, etc, would be held there instead of the crowded, noisy atrium. There would be a Great Outdoors in the aft- so relaxing. Also, the theater would be large enough to hold more passengers so it wouldn’t be necessary to reserve shows. All the scheduling and reservations take away from the original “freestyle “ vacation that NCL advertises....
  3. We were 4 adults on the Jewel to Alaska...we stayed in 9504 and it was perfect. My daughter and son in law slept on pull out couch. Was great with the forward and side balconies! Loved the room but it did need some updating and refreshing but we sailed just before it went to dry dock for refurbishing.
  4. Thanks everyone, I think I will stay with angled balcony:)
  5. Thanks, I’m torn, lol, bigger bathroom or larger balcony....
  6. Currently I have an angled balcony cabin on the Escape. I need your opinions- should I bid on a mini suite with regular size balcony or stay with the little bit larger angled balcony?
  7. Anyone Happen to know where Noel Chavez or Marek Bus are? Restaurant/food beverage managers- last saw them on the Jewel and Gem, respectively....
  8. Just another decrease in perks...Platinum members used to each get 2 free specialty dinners for two and a bottle of wine....then they changed it to 2 dinners for two and one bottle per CABIN , not each platinum member- doesn’t show any thanks for our loyalty....
