  1. I have several questions and thank you in advance ... departing on Sunday ... 1. Which is the best pier for an Uber to drop us off ? ... it is my understanding that the check in area differs from the testing area . 2. Is the main dining room open on embarkation day ? 3. Did you have to wear masks indoors ? 4. Is this correct ... a. getting PCR tested tomorrow (Wednesday) for Sunday sailing ... b. have my Eurofins bar code ... c. on Thursday I complete the Bermuda T.A. form with PCR results and vaccination card 5. Is there anything else I should be aware of ?
  2. I had a bad experience with my PCC ... This person stopped responding to emails and calls once I asked him / her to make simple modifications to my booking. I recently had to cancel a cruise and I was told I could not do it through NCL but had to cancel through my PCC ... I explained to them that I called NCL various times to get this person removed from my account. (I haven't heard from this person for 19 months). Finally an NCL supervisor got involved and my situation was rectified ... I hope.
  3. My question is twofold .. 1. I am leaving on Saturday September 25 aboard the Summit ... I can get a Covid rapid test at CVS on the Thursday September 23 ? 2. Ports: Cozumel ... I can plan my own excursion ? Costa Maya ... I need to book a ship excursion ? Thank you in advance ...
  4. Just got off the Jade two weeks ago and the Ship Tour was not offered ... another blame on the pandemic ... It amazes me that the casino is open (said in a sarcastic voice 🙂) ... the officer dinner for platinum plus was not offered also ...
  5. So to clarify ... those of us living in the NYC area DO NOT (as of this moment) have to have any testing done at neighborhood testing facilities ... NCL is taking care of all testing??? Thank you ...

  7. Please excuse me if these questions have been answered a million times as I most recently cruised with NCL ... who did the rapid test on embarkation day. 1. CVS offers the "Rapid-result test (antigen)" ... is this an acceptable test for Celebrity? 2. If Saturday is embarkation day ... I can get the test on the preceding Wednesday, Thursday or Friday ? Thank you in advance ...
  8. I just got back yesterday from 7 nights from the Jade Greek Isles itinerary in a Club Balcony Room ... These are the perks I received ... Two treats delivered (one was gourmet ... one was cookies from buffet) Bottle of sparkling wine A "special" bar of soap and hand cream One bag of laundry OR 1 bag of pressing There is a high-stepping tub with shower doors Robes Coffee set up in cabin I was told room service was not included (comp) with the exception of continental breakfast (if you enjoy tea there is no designated pot and the water smelled like coffee) I was also told that I could help myself to the water ... As platinum plus we already received two cartons each ... I was hesitant utilizing anything with a price on it
  9. I am currently in the process of booking two speciality restaurants for 6 people (3 couples) ... As soon as I was able to book at 125 days out I did but very unhappy that the only times for 6 people were at 5:30 PM and 9:30 PM. Is it futile and a waste of time trying to call NCL Dining ... I have wasted many an hour on hold and was just wondering if anyone had any success doing this. Thank you in advance.

I know I shouldn't complain as the BOGO roundtrip price from NYC to Athens was "too good to be true" ... that being said ... is it normal for the seats not to be together ... it is only my husband and myself traveling ... we are not even in close proximity to each other for a 10 hour flight ... just got my flight details and was taken aback that we aren't sitting next to each other ...i can't even find a seat map for Alitalia ... thanks in advance ...

I am a little rusty trying to remember the various perks if one stays in a Suite opposed to the Haven ... for a suite ... 1. is there butler and concierge service ? 2. Are suite guests entitled to breakfast and lunch in a speciality dining room ? thank you in advance ...
  12. I just did a "mock" booking (before the payment section) through both Expedia and Travelocity ... for August 22 (my sailing) and plenty of cabins were available ... very odd!!!
  13. I would go ahead and call NCL Dining ... I always have a problem with booking Moderno for the same reason ... I believe it has to do with the "prefix" price rather than a la carte ...

After several cancelled cruises these three items appear on my account … I am a little confused and I am getting conflicting answers from NCL … if anyone has any knowledge and / or experience … it would be appreciated … Thank you in advance ... 1. Your 100% Future Cruise Credit … I understand what this is … 2. Your 25% Single Use FCC Bonus Credit … how is this used … how many can be used per trip / per person ??? 3. Your 10% Discount … can this be used in addition to the above credits ???
  16. I can not find any updated information ... specifically speaking of the Gem ... what are the "suite" perks ... (not club balcony suite) ... I am mainly interested if there are still dining perks in a "special" dining room for breakfast and lunch ... Thank you in advance ...
  17. I had a cruise cancelled in April 2020 ... I foolishly took the credits and put towards an August 2020 cruise (also cancelled) ... so now I have a ton of credits and if I were to do it all over I would have just taken the money ... I will live and learn ... but this is the problem ... NCL refuses to refund back to my credit card three spa passes purchased for the April 2020 trip. They were not transferred to the August 2020 trip ... we just indicated that we wanted our credit cards refunded with the amounts. NCL is now saying that they will only offer a future cruise credit for the amount of spa passes ... I have the original letter from March 2020 stating that all amenities will be refunded back to the original payment ... they are claiming they never said this and it was misinformation ... I have it in black and white on their letterhead. Please advise ... thanks in advance ...
  18. Please forgive me if this question has been addressed as I am new to Carnival and could not find any updated information. Back in January I booked a cruise for this November 2020 ... my final payment is due tomorrow and I know that this cruise is most likely not going to happen. I placed a non-refundable deposit. If I make final payment tomorrow what are my options once the cruise is cancelled ... I am afraid that if I do not make final payment my deposit will be gone ... Thank you in advance ...
  19. Please excuse me if this question has been addressed before ... I just can't seem to find any answers. My April cruise was cancelled and I requested a FCC to put towards an August cruise ... that cruise is now cancelled ... I am at the point where I just want all my money back ... I really don't care about that "bonus" credit amount and I do realize I am not entitled to it. Since I paid in full (as a gift to my family) I want ALL the money returned to MY credit card. Is this going to be an issue? I did not cancel either cruise. NCL did. Also where do I find the accounts for the two minors that were traveling with us. This is getting more and more confusing as I just want to bank the money until things settle down. Thanks in advance for your help.
  20. I also I believe I had COVID-19 back in February ... It wasn't a "thing" then but I had all the symptoms as you describe ... My husband contracted COVID-19 in March (a confirmed case) and even though it is highly contagious I never contracted it during the time of his illness in addition to the period of two weeks of self isolation ... I was tested once my husband had a confirmed case and I tested negative ... To this day I have stayed well (knock wood) ... so I really believe ... as you do ... that I had it ...
  21. So ... for those who originally had a "concierge inside family" and retitled "suite" ... are any amenities taken away ??? A "suite" always entitled one to concierge services ...

As a vegetarian for seventeen years I never expect anyone to cater to me ... whether it is on vacation or being invited to a family / friend's house ... and I do realize as some other posters pointed out ... it is a preference ... not a life or death situation ... NCL is very accommodating to people with lifestyle choices. The speciality restaurants can be tough, however. Ask to speak to the person in charge of "special diets" as soon as you board ... NCL will do their best to accommodate ... Unfortunately at this time NCL does not have a special vegan menu ...Royal Caribbean just introduced their vegan menu which changes nightly ... hopefully NCL will follow suit very soon. Every evening you will receive the next day's menu ... If a menu item can be modified it will be.
