Hi All I have been getting these offers for a while now but going on a last minute cruise has never been really possible for me. Things have changed and now I can start going. Yay! Can anyone who also gets similar offers tell me about your experiences? I have read posts on social media saying if you book one of these there is a chance you get to the port and they do not have a room for you. Is this possible? This is definitely not a deal breaker but it may influence which ports I am willing to go to. Are upgrades ever available? My offers are for an inside room. I have never stayed in an inside before and would be fine with it but love my balcony. When do you find out what cabin you have? Some of these leave as soon as tomorrow. Are there any pitfalls with these offers that would make you not recommend? Thanks for any info! Trish

Hi All We're trying to get a head start on weighing our options before calling so thought you all may have some input. I understand that someone in the military is allowed to bypass the must be 25 rule and book under 25. My kids and their friends want to book a cruise, there are 6 total. They are all 21. Two of them are in the military. If the two military kids each book a room with 2 non-military kids, will that work? I am trying to avoid going as a chaperone if possible. Thank you! Trish

I know the ships are sailing full right now but why are there so many last minute cruises for sale on the website that are not actually available for booking? Is there a trick to these....is it all in the timing? Is it better if you call? Thank you!

Well ya maybe teens do. But it's pretty easy to tell if something doesn't have an aerosol in it or has a false bottom. She spent a good amount of time on it and didn't even bother to look at anything else in the bag. Also, it went through the scanner so if there had been anything hidden in there it would have been visible I would assume, unless the scanners can't see inside metal...which would be insane. Just seems really odd. And all of this talk of "drug dogs" yet where are all the stories of people getting arrested or having their things confiscated? It makes me think we do not really know exactly what they are looking for.

Last cruise out of Port Canaveral my Neutrogena spray on sunscreen got a thorough body cavity search. Not sure how you would hide something in there.

Please check with someone at Carnival and US Customs. I had an odd situation happen returning from a cruise with my 2yo. Customs reviewed her birth certificate and also attempted to question her asking if we were her parents (she was a super extroverted talker but the way they aggressively questioned her all she would do is hide her head). I don't want to imagine what could have happened if her stats didn't match the birth certificate.

Ya I may in the future, I don't WANT to smuggle. But I have one booked for next month and I wouldn't cancel over it.

Sadly we will smuggle now and Carnival will lose more money. We cruise to chill on our balcony and watch the ocean and for the ports. I won't buy Cheers to lose money on it and I am on vacation and won't be leaving my balcony to go to a bar to get a drink.

Hopefully just a temporary glitch but I had a bottle of vodka in my cart and went to check out and it just errored. Now the vodka is gone from my cart.

Hi I was wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation and what happened. I am cruising in my own cabin along with my daughter and her friend in their own cabin. The cabins are booked this way with Carnival. I would like to check in and board as early as possible, she cannot check in until later in the day. Is it possible to check in separately? Hi All I've been on several cruises since the restart with someone that strongly prefers Hennessey over any other adult beverage. Twice the ship has run out of Hennessey completely so we've been ordering it to be delivered to the room on arrival. This time we are sailing on the Liberty in November and I went to order it and it is not listed as an option. Temporary shortage? Does anyone know if the ship bars are short too? Should I start googling how to smuggle liquor on a cruise ship? Get a new sailng partner? Thanks! Trish

Hi I am taking my mom on the Mardi Gras on 5/7. I'm looking for suggestions on good reading spots. She is VERY picky. She likes to be outside, under shade, not in lounger, close to activity for people watching (she is opposed to the Serenity area). Has anyone found a spot like this? It would be awesome to know ahead of time so I can get her settled and actually enjoy my cruise too! 😊 Thanks for any info! Trish
