  1. Hummm, wonder if that is what happened, everything looked good up to and including my CC.
  2. After working and screaming most of the day on the K-eta website, I FINALLY figured out how to resize the photos so they are "acceptable"--I got "timed out" several times. One less thing to do. Haven't heard anything about returning to Japan after SK. If this darn trip hadn't been paid for in Mar 2020 and rebooked 3X, I'd say--stay home, too much hassle. I'm afraid I use this forum to Vent too many times. Apologies
  3. I was doing it on line--what TA works on Sun??
  4. I spent a large part of the day trying to book a Caribbean cruise for my DH BIG birthday in July (June 24 cruise) gave my CC etc, we are Elite plus, its now been over 3 hours and no sort of confirmation, of course we can't look up a res w/o a number. Then they had the nerve to send me the above. At least our CC hasn't been charged. Sorry, I'm just really PO'd. This will be my last time trying to book with them.
  5. Thanks USN, DH was 30 yr AF. Also big thanks to Rosalyn, I'll print out that info--can't trust my tablet will find it at the right time. MAYBE I'll be able to sleep for the next 3 1/2 weeks.😉
  6. We have QR codes for immigration and customs, did we miss one?

    K-ETA

I just got an email from my TA changing what she had sent me,--, Silversea via TA on Feb 7 that we would not be needing K-eta--now it sounds like we do--sure wish they'd make up their minds!!!
  8. Unfortunately the flts were booked by SilverseaAir and it was a real pain to get what we did.
  9. Maybe I'm stressing too much, but, was wondering if anyone has gone from Terminal 3, where International flts come in--to terminal 1 for domestic flts to Osaka. We are supposed to land at HND on Japan airlines at 5:25 pm, have to go thru all the customs & immigration (do have the Visit Japan QR codes downloaded) then somehow get to Terminal 1 for a JAL flt to Osaka, Itami at 7:10 pm. Hope we don't have to go thru security, get/transfer bags also. All this after a 12 hr flt.
  10. Could you please put a link on this thread when you start your new trip???
  11. itcTN--please report back if you can check your bags all the way thru. We have the same situation in Nov.
  12. Do taxis in Southampton accept credit cards too?
  13. Would like to hear how the Japan arriving, getting on ship etc is going. I know about the "Visit Japan" but wonder how long it takes to actually get thru all the stuff at the airport.
  14. Don't call me Shirley! Sorry couldn't resist.
  15. SS Norway was also our first cruise, Dec. 1980--yes, I had to look up the year.
  16. Been here and gone for our area of the "Eastern slope"
  17. Thank you, your cruise sounds terrific, will check out the line.
  18. Question---is this ship mainly for German speaking guests, or is information also in English?
  19. It usually takes almost that long to get off a plane.
