  1. You can have a leisurely breakfast in Atlantide .
  2. New York to Montreal on the Whisper in 2015 numerous passengers whose dress code left a lot to be desired!! I wonder if it is this route with American professionals on holiday who do not wish to dress up? There are always a few casually dressed people but on that cruise we were in the minority adhering to the dress code.
  3. Silversea even ventured to the far north last year as they hosted afternoon tea for guests in Aberdeen. Champagne flowed and Silversea staff were charming. Goody bag to take away with Hotel Chocolat choccies and a voucher for £400 off next cruise.
  4. On our cruise I rented the boots and they were excellent and certainly did not grudge the money.Numerous people did not rent and could not get the correct size borrowing from the ship. Our rental boots were in a boot bag in our suite when we boarded and we tried them on immediately in case we needed to exchange for a different size.To save any hassle rent.
  5. Thank you Mysty yes loved being back on the wonderful Whisper. Great company with fellow Brits lots of Canadians and Australians onboard. One couple from the USA with whom we disagreed thought that the Whisper should be retired as she was old !! They preferred Regent with the free excursions!! Didn’t get my point that nothing is free. Staff on board were wonderful and we enjoyed our two weeks back home to cooking and cleaning. Enjoyed your world cruise reports it must have been tremendous Donna
  6. Just disembarked the Whisper this morning and everyone has their own opinion but we found Asst Maitre D Mary Anne to be charming efficient and a lovely young lady. We were happy to sit at whatever table we were assigned.
  7. Royal Caribbean at work !!!
  8. Thank you so much Unibok relived our January HongKong to Singapore trip wonderful reporting. We also had people on excursions who were not fit enough to walk around !! We too are going on the May 2020 Med cruise which overnights in Istanbul hope to meet you. Thank you once again for taking us on your travels.
  9. Thank you Unibok duly noted. Will research and find a good Tailor.
  10. Well said jolly jones not interested in RC, Celebrity or Azamara. Please in no way link them with Silversea.
  11. Thank you drron just brought a big smile to my face seeing Putu who we met in 2014 on the explorer. Lovely young man and I hope we meet up with him again.Thoroughly enjoying your posts.
  12. Thanks Jeff I know that 7 days is just a short trip long haul availability on BA not great!! We are youngish early 60’s and sleep not too badly in club world. We try to keep going until 9pm first night and then get a good sleep up early ready to explore.Stopped over twice in Singapore and love it Botanical gardens on list.Need to revisit your earlier posts for useful information. We are staying at the Fullerton. We did Hong Kong to Singapore on Shadow 3rd Jan and had a wonderful cruise.
  13. Thank you Unionk loving your daily adventures. We have only previously had short visits to Singapore but just used a BA companion voucher to book a week in Singapore in January. We love the food and always go where the locals eat. Last year we managed to find the famous Michelin star Soy chicken hawker stalI in China Town que 20 mins but delicious and so cheap. Will have the time to get a silk jacket made!! any recommendations please . Made a note of Uniboks tailor. Have a wonderful cruise.
  14. Sailed with Vicky twice and she was a very good CD talked to all the guests. Vicky told me she was mentored by Colin and it shows.
  15. Great blog and photographs made me relive our 2014 trip to Antarctica on the Explorer. It really was a fantastic trip and the staff were superb.
