  1. Thank you...is this a change? There used to be the 125% on cruise planner purchases https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/topics/onboard-cruise-credit-offer
  2. Our Alaska cruise was canceled, and I’ve been waiting for the email announcement (never received)... I understand I’ll automatically receive the 125% FCC unless I opt out, which is fine with me since I have other sailings to apply it to. However, I just received an email saying my cruise planner purchases would be automatically refunded to my credit card. I really wanted to get the 125% credit to apply to future cruise planner purchases! Has anyone else not received the option to get the 125% on cruise planner purchases?!
  3. Thanks all...it did come to my husband’s email, but he didn’t see it until I asked him to look again 🙄 Now when I applied the second FCC to our next sailing, the balance mysteriously changed so that we still owe about $600 when it should have been paid in full (with a few dollars left over), so guess I’ll have to still call!
  4. Received the email yesterday with the FCC for our canceled cruise, but it was only for my reservation. Have not received my husband’s (under the same booking, in the same cabin). Is each FCC sent as a separate email? Is it normal to receive one and then the second one later? Just want an idea before I have to wait on hold with RCI. thank you!
  5. We’re flying into Vancouver from the DC area, and trying to figure out how much of a layover time we’ll need since there are no direct flights. Our choices are basically to fly to the US west coast (Seattle, San Francisco, etc) then onto Vancouver, or to fly from DC into Canada then onto Vancouver. Prefer the latter, since there are far more flight choices on Air Canada. If we do that, do we clear customs/immigration leaving DC or upon arrival in Canada (or both?!). How much time is a “safe” layover, assuming no major flight delays?
  6. Crossing our fingers that our cruise on Freedom will actually happen in January...we’ve already made final payment, and noticed that another cabin, which we would prefer, has opened up. It’s still same basic category (superior balcony), but priced about $30 higher than cabins in our subcategory due to location. Called our TA to see if we could switch by paying the $30 extra, she sat on hold for a while with RCCI and came back and said it would cost us $900! Does this sound right? I should add that pricing has gone up pretty significantly since we originally booked...
  7. Still holding out hope that we’ll be on Freedom the end of January, but assuming we’ll be limited to ship excursions if we do sail. Anyone been on any can’t miss RCCI excursions that you can recommend? Thoughts on best island — St Lucia, Barbados, or Antigua — for snorkeling? Thanks in advance!

  10. Has anyone done any of the food tours? We’re debating between Sip and Savour or Bermuda Food Tour, and wondering if anyone else has any experience. Thanks!
  11. We’ve always booked late dining, and are booked that way for our next cruise as well. Thinking seriously about doing the BOGO specialty for the first 2 nights and, since we’re in a JS, plan on doing Coastal Kitchen a couple nights as well. We don’t want to be “those people” who never show up in the MDR, so wondering if we should see about switching to MTD. If we did stay with late dining, we would request a 2-top so we wouldn’t leave table mates wondering if we were going to show or not, but just wondering if we screw over the waiters by not showing up half of the nights. Does it
