  1. I bet fairly heavily and will live in the smoke free casino if it is available.
  2. We've always purchased the Cheers program early to get the 10% discount. This time however we have plenty of OBC and will be buying it once onboard. Is there a station set up to buy the program or can you pay for it at a bar? Thanks in advance.
  3. The only issue that I see is that the room steward is entitled to a per person tip. Obviously this is easily taken care of.
  4. I have been able to find no rhyme or reason to the offers. I play blackjack consistently at $100 per hand and my wife plays the slots for .25 per pull. She often gets better deals than I get.
  5. We are booked to cruise on the Elation out of Canaveral on October 21, 2021. Had FTTF purchased, but as reported, it won't be available. I'm debating upgrading from a balcony to a suite, but would only do so if it will save me from standing in line during embarkation. I've searched as well as I can on the boards and have not been able to find a definitive answer as to whether there will be any type of priority boarding. Thanks in advance for any help.
  6. Booked for October 21. Fully expect to sail.
  7. Yes, but there will be a charge for any applicable sales taxes. I bought the package for my kids once but didn't set them up with a credit card account. They wouldn't let them use the program until they could charge the $.69 to an account.
  8. I can't imagine this thing going into 2022. We are booked for December 27, 2021. I'm anticipating that our cruise will be one of the last to be canceled.
  9. We have a Dec 31 booked out of Charleston and plan to pay the final payment. Even though my final payment is close to 6k for 3 suites, I don't think that its that big of a risk with interest rates so low. Unless you're paying by a credit card with exorbitant rates, you're really not losing much.
  10. Has there been anything definitive released by Carnival regarding reduced capacity of bookings when they reopen? I've searched and couldn't find anything. We're booked on the Sunshine for December and were on it for New Years last year. It is a very crowded ship. I'm not one to freak out about the virus, but I'm not sure how this can be done even relatively safely without reduced capacity.
  11. Thought I'd post something on the lighter side in this weird time. My wife was going through some things and found the portfolio from our honeymoon cruise on the Jubilee in 1989. We are still happily married, btw.
  12. Just picked up a bunch at 15.01. It may drop further, but I'm confident that it will recover.
  13. Pepsi products were on the Sunshine for our 2/27 cruise. Not a fan of the change.
  14. As an update, I rode by the terminal on Saturday at about 2:00 and although it was hard to really tell anything inside, it didn't look too crowded and there was no line for the drop off traffic.
  15. I'm an Indian, not a chief on this deal.
  16. There's a meet and greet for the FB group at 4:00 at the Red Frog Rum Bar on the first day. Hope to see you there.
  17. We are booked for the February 27 cruise aboard the Sunshine out of Charleston. Standing in line is a pet peeve of mine so we usually get FTTF, and show up as early as possible. Unfortunately FTTF is sold out for the cruise so I am planning to show up as late as possible to avoid any lines. It actually works out well as I have some business to attend to in the morning. Has anyone had experience boarding after say 2:00? Thanks in advance.
  18. Was on the Liberty two years ago and had to watch my Clemson Tigers get beat by Bama on a small screen at the casino bar as the sports bar was absolutely packed more than a half hour prior to the game. I'm pretty sure that whatever ship you're on, you'll be able to find the game somewhere. We hope to meet your Tigers at some point during the playoffs this year. Good luck!
  19. Sometimes there is a late night party at the Serenity Bar. Once that closes the crowd usually heads down to the pizza area. There is usually a good late night crowd to be found somewhere.
  20. Do you recall if the bar was open in the Havana bar during the day?
  21. Thanks for the positive topic. I enjoy having my wife and my adult children all together since the kids live in different cities now.
  22. I'm skeptical that they would do away with them in the Spa rooms as the Elemis toiletries are a big part of their sales pitch for them.
  23. Thank you! We'll be starting sometime after noon, so we'll make the Alchemy our last stop. Hoping Havana serves during the day because I'm having the Tee shirts printed up next week. 🤞
