  1. Arrived to St John NB. 2 hours delayed getting off ship due to no ramp set up for exit and changing tides I would recommend you book an excursion beforehand since we are about .5 miles walk from downtown area. We are docked in Long Wharf and nothing much here but a parking lot and a makeshift tent where you wait for excursions. The rain sort of ruined our plans. We made it downtown and got hit with a torrential down pour, so we opted to walk back to ship and just enjoy another day on board. Good thing we did because it's still raining off and on .
  2. You need to fill out ArriveCAN. They have not asked for it as of Today. You do need fill out customs form , needs to be submitted day before 1st Canadian port. They will leave form in room and you can drop off in drop box located shore excursion desk. They ask questions, are you carrying weapons, drugs etc etc.. We saw a ton of Harbor seals hanging out in Port of Portland. And of course birds everywhere. loons, eagles and others I did not recognize. I'm still waiting on some whales to show three awesomeness this trip.
  3. Viking Crown lounge, somehow I am now Pinnacle. Protip#10101 enjoy cocktails prior to event and tip bartender accordingly, your now Pinnacle, our guy is literally making up cocktails for us to enjoy. Such amazing service. Singapore Sling.
  4. Whatever the legal size for Maine lobsters is.. that's what you are getting. They literally have a legal size limit. Our Operator told us actual legal size limit was, but of course I don't pay attention. So sorry! You can Google it.
  5. Absolutely even inflation can't mess this up. The chowder house line was super long...Porthole was about. 30 min wai, if you could find the hostess to give your name.
  6. So I looked for whale watching excursions in Portland somehow nothing cam up. My Google Fi was weak. Turns out odyssey offers a whale tour at 10am on shore days. Found this company walking around town. If you are adventurous and want to get your hands dirty how about a love working lobster boat.
  7. Had a great excursion this AM. Saw the lighthouses in area via boat excursion. Did not realize the military history of this area much more impressive than the light houses.. 😂. Has lunch at The Porthole (EECC recommend) Maine lobster was delicious, chowda amazing, Maine craft beer on point.
  8. My cabin attendant is leaving copy nightly. Full sailings 3158. All 3 floors of MDR open for business.
  9. No. At the early time we arrived , everyone was corraled together. They did let Pinnacle, suite and than key members on first.
  10. Help me understand cooler vs fridge I have had in other RCL ships. The one pictured below is a cooler. But nothing stays cool. Beverages from last night are room temperature. So either it's broken or that's just the way these work
  11. Dinner was pretty good. Only waited 30 min for a table. I love these old style 3 tier dining rooms. Ship Capacity is at 3168. Back to full sailings. Bitter Sweet. Loved cruise at under 50%. But also miss the crowds.
  12. So my time dining, needs reservations. Kind of defeats the purpose of My Time dining. Waiting in the NO reservations line, watching everyone else with reservations go in. So I guess make reservations. Is the answer.
  13. Supposed to sail away at 5. Still waiting. We are In the helipad area. Sort of a quiet secret. Not too many ppl here. If your not a fan of crowded sail aways this is your spot.
  14. Trying to post any images is proving challenging, Voom service for this ship is trash. I'll post dailies and spa info tomorrow in Maine.
  15. Watching Patriots game, because it's Boston. Already missing a lot of key ingredients and beers. Hope it is not one of those trips. At least they have this .
  16. For those waiting to biy DBP on board here is info. And yes they have the good cups.
  17. Checked in and waiting in holding area. We can't board due to coast guard having to inspect ship, should be boarding in about 15 min. We hope! Protip#1111 RCL transport service front of line service if your flight is early I recommend using it Check in was easy., 3 places they checked Covid test, setsail pass and passport. So keep everything out. Entry level than upstairs area and waiting area in photos below. This is a congested dock especially with 3 ships in port. here is my view from waiting room of Voyager.
  18. Arrived safely to Logan. It was a smooth and super quick flight from Chicago. Sunrise flight with a great view. Just waiting for RCL shuttle transfer.. Starts about 11am. Perfect , because our check in is at 12pm. Looks like the pier will be super busy today. One of my favorite ships Joy will also be in port. We have sailed her 3 times She brings us lots of memories and JOY 😊.
  19. Leaving in a few hours! Will do. We usually like to walk around the ship and explore, I am sure wife will need to check out the SPA for informational purposes :-)
  20. App and they will also email you a copy. I printed my form out. easier to use when checking in at Pier (or so I hope).
  21. I completed the ArriveCAN today. A few questions later and I am now legal to enter Canada. Tomorrow night we will do our eMED proctored Covid tests. I have used these on our past 3 cruises. I like them for their convenience and ease to do at home. You will need to know your cabin number so have that handy. If you are traveling with multi ppl and they are on your ArriveCAN you will also need their room number. 1 more day of work tomorrow and ready set GO!!!
  22. Yes I will try to post daily! So today I received an email from RCL, they said I can Complete the ArriveCAN process. A bit confused as ArriveCAN website clearly states if traveling by ship must do it within 72 hours of arrival. EMAIL: Snippet from ArriveCAN website: LOL!!! If I were to add trip details today ! I can't since it says travel must be within these dates. RCL get your stuff together !!! Or am I missing something???
