In my Cruise Planner, just about everything our party might want to buy comes with a From *. For example, a dinner at Chops is From* 35.00 usd. What does this mean? What is the real cost? And can one use the prices quoted for the individual specialty restaurants to figure out if the dining packages make sense or not? The dining packages also come with a From*. This new to Royal cruiser thanks you!

I am booked on a 7 day Caribbean cruise that departs in late March 2018. I cannot make reservations online at this time for specialty dining. Per the HAL agent in Seattle reservations will open up in November. However, it looks like I could purchase Dining Packages now. Apparently you prepay for the specialty restaurants with these packages but you don't make actual reservations until you are onboard. Is there any advantage to purchasing the Dining Packages early? What is the best way to get reservations when I want them? Thanks for your help!

Just booked a Caribbean cruse on the Nieuw Amsterdam departing March 31. When should I make dinning reservations? How about on board activities, such as fitness and cooking classes? Shore excursions?
