  1. What are they going to do with the ship for 10 days? Just let it sit in Singapore? Maybe they will change the embarkation port, if so it will be a significant change and we can get a full refund.
  2. Who is your TA, do you have email confirmation you can publish?
  3. The onboard protocols no longer include paper menus and crew serving guests rather than serving themselves. Why have they relaxed these protocols on the current sailing? What does that tell you about “taking every precaution”
  4. We are sailing from Singapore on 27/2, no travel advisory for Singapore just China. Had we been booked on the sailing on 17/2 which changed embarkation from Hong Kong to Singapore, we would have been entitled to a full refund via our UK travel agency due to the significant change in itinerary.
  5. Sea shark I am from the UK and have comprehensive travel insurance, however no UK travel insurance covers if you wish to simply cancel because you longer wish to go. We will only be refunded if someone is too ill to travel, we have a close family bereavement, the Cruise is cancelled or the Foreign Office advises against travel. NCL are putting lives at risk, and it is highly likely our itinerary will be severely compromised. A full refund or credit in these circumstances is not unreasonable.
  6. It was Kota Kinabalu that was closed. Celebrity Millenium refused entry and was returning to Singapore
  7. You have cancelled all NCL Spirit sailings to Asia from April due to the Corona Virus, however you are expecting thousands of guests to travel to Singapore over the coming weeks to board NCL Jade. Many will spend several days in Singapore before boarding the ship. Singapore has the 2nd largest number of Corona Virus cases and is on Orange alert. Clearly the safety of passengers and crew is not your number one priority. If it were you would allow passengers to cancel with a full refund.
  8. So why are they still operating Cruises on the Jade in Asia? We are due in Singapore on 25th Feb for the 27 Feb cruise to Dubai. They cancelled the Hong Kong to Singapore part of the cruise, due to the port closure in Hong Kong, but despite Singapore now being on orange alert for Corona Virus, they still intend to operate this cruise.
  9. If you book from the UK you do not pay the service charge. Free perks on NCL really are free if you book from the UK.
