No worries that you will be cabinless! If you see a muster station station, RCI has secretly picked a cabin for you (otherwise they would not know which muster station).  The barcode trick will work. Use the technique the others describe (apple wallet or a barcode reading app).  Or just wait if you are the patient sort; it will be revealed eventually.  My last two assignments were hidden in the barcode until from 45-31 days out.  At 30 days out they were revealed.  YMMV.

The bar code trick worked.  I was able to use an Apple phone and it worked just as described.  Thanks to everyone for your help.

Open the app, click on show set sail pass and then click on add set sail pass to apple wallet and it shows with a bar code, the last 4 digits are the assigned cabin to the reservation. This is our GTY on Anthem, originally under stateroom it said GTY but 6166 was in the barcode, now the room has been assigned accordingly.

Thanks, I was able to use an iPhone and was finally able to see the numbers revealing what is likely to be my cabin number.  Thanks again.

Thanks for everyone's advice, I'm still not having luck in getting a number on my barcode even in the App.  We're about 34 days out so maybe something will show up soon. Thanks.

Look at the bottom of your set sail pass and the last 4 digits should be your room number. Not sure how it works for guarantee rooms, but it does for all other rooms

I've looked at my SetSail Pass and I see the barcode, but there are no numbers associated.  I do see a Muster Station number, but nothing else.  I guess I'll keep watching.

  5. In Juneau the Grand Princess arrives at 8 am, or so the schedule says.  If I were to book a private tour at 8 am, I suppose such a tour booking would be too early?  Or not?  What about a 8:30 am tour?  Okay, or still too early? BI don't really know where the Grand Princess docks in Juneau, but the tour meet up point is at the base of the Mt. Robert Tram.

Thanks for your opinion and advice.

We rented a car in Juneau.  You can easily drive the whole length of the road north and south of Juneau.  If you drive all the way north there is a good chance that you will see whales from the road.

Where did you pick up and rent your car from?  Thanks

Can anyone recommend some sites to see around Juneau if we are able to drive?  We are planning a visit to the Mendenhall  Glacier Visitor’s Center and have a car reserved for the day. We are doing whale watching in other ports and flight tours are too pricey for our budget. Open to suggestions!  Thank you!

Where are you renting your car from? Thanks

Like David said earlier, your best bet is doing it on the app right after midnight (EST) on exactly the 45th day out if you want the earliest time. I was able to get the 10:30-11:00am slot for all 13 of us cruising in a few weeks. Went back in later that morning around 8 am to enter in some additional information and the earliest times available was starting at Noon. Don't wait to book shows either, the reservations fill up quickly.

Are we talking about the Allure sailings out of Galveston?  Thanks

I'm confused, you say to check in at midnight EST.  But I thought check in didn't open till midnight Ship time which would be 1 am EST.  Can you please clarify what I'm missing?  Thanks

I appreciate your post.  I am booked on Allure later this summer.  I remember trying the app for my cruise last year and the app wasn't open for check in a couple of min after midnight.  I went to the website and checked right in.  I hope it goes well this time.  I need to check in 6 people!  We are all linked.

How did you link your groups/cabins!  Is there a way you can verify they're all linked?  Thanks

  11. I'm traveling with 8 adults booked separately in 4 cabins.  I think I have all 4 cabins linked on the App.  So when we're eligible to check in, and all I want to do is select boarding time for all of us to board together, can someone please describe the steps to do so?  I don't want to complete everyone's check in information, just to select boarding time only.  Appreciate knowing the steps and process.  Thanks so much.

I checked with the private tour companies for whale watching and they no longer will transport to the glacier. There is a shuttle you can take from the port to the glacier and I am wondering what are peoples thoughts on that and who do you book the shuttle through? Also how much did you pay?  Thanks I’m advance.

Are you sure there are not tour companies that don't do both as a combo?  I'm looking for a combo tour myself and I see a number do both.  Just curious as what do you see that I'm missing?  Thanks.

My best guess is that check in will open 45 days before your cruise.  Is your cruise April 8 or April 9?

Actually my cruise is May 7.  App says I can check in on March 22, website says March 23rd.  I do appreciate being given information on check in date, just odd that the dates are not the same and a day apart.
