That's me and my parents. My grandparents are both from Friesland. The "hearts" represent the water lilies of Holland.

Thanks for posting. I was hoping the smoking areas would be listed in the Dailies but I don't see it. If you happen upon any smoking areas could you please post where they are? Thanks [emoji846]. I know there is an area in the casino but even with search, can't seem to find the outdoor ones.

There is a Cigar/Smoking Lounge on Deck 7.

Now that you bring it up, what brand of beer is provided on board the Divina? We're sailing in June and I'm a beer snob too. :D

Max, look at post#3 of this thread. A pic of the beer list is there.

Go for it!! I have been single for about the same amount of time and tried my 1st solo cruise in 2012 and going for my 2nd in March. You can be as introverted or extroverted as you want.
Alaska is awesome. I have been twice via motorcycle. Someday via cruise ship.

Hi, This will be 5th cruise and 2nd time solo. Wondering if we'll have many solo's on this one. My biggest stress is dining in the MDR. I just finished reading the thread in here about dining being the most difficult part of soloing.
Ready to sailaway!
-
Thanks, Connie!
I am cruising solo. Meeting my table mates is important but I think the sailaway is more memorable.

I cruise on March 25

I enjoy the sail away. Because Divina sails at 7pm, I am planning on skipping dinner in the MDR on the first night.
How many of you have skipped dinner in the MDR to enjoy the sail away?

For those that got an upgrade. When you first made your reservation were you assigned a inside cabin number then MSC upgraded you? Or was your cabin a To Be Assigned and then you were upgraded any info would be appreciated. Also were you all Inside guarantee Fantastica? I booked what I thought was an inside Bella Guarantee but was assigned a quad cabin for just the two of us at the time of booking. Do we have a chance of an upgrade.
I was inside guarantee fantastica. Did not receive any room assignment until 3 weeks later I got the email with the balcony assigned.

And as we missed the black party (having a snooze still got jet lag) our chocolate ship was delivered to our room!

I like the menu's. MSC has a variety. I plan on ordering 2 appetizer's and 2 entree's each night just because we can.
