Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I had to do both. Just make sure when filling it out, you do it correctly and ensure all your answers are correct. I accidently selected yes I was convicted of a crime and had to do the long route to get it fixes. So, it does work, and it's pretty fast, just ensure your answers are correct.
  2. I'm on this NZ cruise next month and wondered about a couple things. Did anyone do the Chef table and have a menu they can post? What is the dress like down under for formal nights? Here in the states, it's a little more casual, slacks and collard shirts. Should we have ties and jackets, just ties, or are collard shirts fine? Someone mentioned polos, but that seems too casual? Any excursions that shouldn't be missed? Is there a winemaker dinner or just chef table? Thanks if anyone can answer.
  3. I did both the winemaker and the chef table on the Royal last May. They are indeed both different menus and both are worth it. The Royal does it practically every night with the table filled, we know because we had a mix up with another party getting scheduled a different night and having to go on a 3rd night with both parties. It's best to call the dine line as soon as you get on board. I know I wasn't anywhere near the first on board last time... maybe like the 1000th, but was able to still get it arranged. The chef table is a little more seafood heavy with the winemaker being a little more meat heavy. We enjoyed both, but decided when both were available, we would choose the winemaker over the chefs table.
  4. I'd say dress up a little. Collared shirt, slacks, and dress shoes for men at a minimum. I add a vest and tie. For the ladies, nice dress or pant suit. Stay clear of the jeans, t-shirts, tennis shoes. However, if you cruise carnival now, that would be acceptable, but princess is still a little more dressy.
  5. Just got off the Vista. We were in Falmouth and went on a Carnival Excursion - Panoramic Montego Bay and Jerk. We stopped at scotchies for lunch so they do have excursions, just look for any that include jerk chicken and most likely it's a stop at scortchies.
