  1. I totally agree - and we have done a Med cruise on a smaller ship, however we have a tiny window of opportunity for a week in the Med with our adult kids, and these two cruises were the only ones that are available for that timeframe. There are only large ports on this itinerary, and it's October so the ports shouldn't be too crowded.
  2. Thanks for your replies - good points! We've decided on Allure - I've looked at a couple of Youtube video reviews of MSC World Europa, and while a beautiful ship, there were many things that made our decision against it - Smoking policy, dated entertainment, multi language announcements etc. Your comments sealed the deal 🙂
  3. Hi there - we are looking at 2 Med cruises, one on each of these ships and are in two minds. Both are 7 nights, and similar prices. We will be cruising with our 2 adult children in their 20s on a family trip. We prefer a couple of the ports on the MSC itinerary, but having been on other smaller RCI ships (Radiance, Rhapsody, Adventure) would love to try Allure. We have done various lines, Celebrity, RCI, Princess and NCL, so am not sure MSC will be for us. So we're wondering whether to choose based on the ship (super important) or the ports (also important) but basically we just want a lovely vacation on a beautiful ship with great food and entertainment, while sailing the Med.
