  1. Is Elisa a local guide? Or she makes tours in several cities? What did you manage to see in 3 hours? Was it enough? Or do you have list of places you want to visit next time?
  2. We are big cheese fans😍 Which one you would recommend to try first of all? And maybe you know if there is a honeydew? We tasted it ones and still can't forget!!!
  3. Maybe some gourmet tour in Rhodes will be a good solution? Usually such tours contain a small historical part mostly done in a bus and the main part consists of great dishes tasting - no walking needed Why not to choose such type of traveling in one of mentioned locations?
  4. Maybe it's better for you to rent a guide with car so that you'll have a chance to see both Rhodes and Lindos considering they not that far one from another. My personal opinion after reading tourists' reviews is that Lindos is mostly a beach town, there are main points with panoramic views but they seem to be more precious than Lindos itself... So it's up to you to choose...
  5. Are you the only one or you have some friends in your company who want to have a tour in Rhodes? If there are 3-4 people, you can rent a private guide with a car who can make a day long excursion with stops wherever you want) We've heard such options are very popular on islands. You will decide where to spend your time! I think this variant is more interesting than just a group tour.
  6. Our worst experience was when we booked a room in a hotel whose owner didn't speak English at all! She was able to say I don't speak English and that was all!!!)))))) We got all the necessary information in nearby cafe)) So don't worry, if one person doesn't understand you then ask the next one!
  7. Just took a look - view on the sunset is gorgeous!!! So sad we'll be there only in a daytime....
  8. What dreadful things are happening in Rome... What a pleasure it will be to stand for hours in line just to be pulled through the Colosseum and not seeing anything much... Not sure I would choose such option. Maybe view from the outside is the best decision?!
  9. We are also planing to visit Lisbon as well as Portu. I've seen a great picture of A Cevicheria in Lisbon with ceiling Octopus. It looks terrific. Want to visit it so much! Many good reviews on TripAdvisor!
  10. We studied the question when planned our visit to Russia, such day exists in Hermitage for sure... We've read that the line was infinite, but travel companies offer entrance on such days with skip the line option. Not sure about Rome and Colosseum, but maybe worth examining the question?
  11. Just checked, available are tickets till the 8th of June... Need to wait a bit more...
  12. This recommendation we've got when asked for help with restaurant in Rome for B-day celebration. Not been there yet, plan to book a table and have an amazing time there on the 21stt of April! slidergirl said: Well, if he want to truly pull out all the stops, I'd say La Pergula up on the highest hill of Rome at the Rome Cavalieri (a Waldorf-Astoria hotel). Michelin-rated. Romantic. Fantastic view overlooking Rome.
  13. Why don't you want to take a ride on boat to Lindos from Rhodes port? We've seen some suggestions on such tours, maybe it's easier to get there by waterway? I guess it's in the same port where cruises dock.
  14. We've been to Naples in October - warm comfy weather, sometimes even hot! Used my straw hat every day! Carolyn
