  1. I’d suggest the Lazy Lizard. $20 for 2 chairs, 6 drinks, free WiFi, locker , nice umbrella, bathroom and more. Nick will take great care of you. The restaurant is one of the #1 restaurants In Phillipsburg. We just had a fantastic lunch there. Try his Banana rum and Coke......yum! Nice place run by a very nice young family.
  2. Thank you for your review. You do such a nice job! I'm really enjoying it and have picked up a few pointers for our March 3rd cruise on the Regal to the Eastern Caribbean! I'm getting so excited! Can't wait to escape this dreadful weather here in Iowa!
  3. We always hang multiple items on each hanger. That said......I always either throw extra hangers in my luggage or stop at the Dollar Tree to pick up cheap hangers on the way to the ship. I like to hang my clothes up instead of throwing into a drawer!
  4. I'm wondering how similar the views are from Mountaintop and Paradise Point. If you've done both venues and had a choice of just one - which one would you do? Thanks for the help!
  5. If you belong to Costco....Costco Travel has great rates for rental cars. We're renting one for a day from FLL to be returned the next day at Alamo at Port Everglades (1700 Eller Dr). $54.72 for a standard SUV. Alamo at Port Everglades has a free shuttle to the ship. We've done this before and it works quite well.
  6. Thanks so much for your posts. I really enjoyed reading about your cruise. We'll be sailing on the Regal on March 3rd for the Eastern Caribbean route. Have a safe trip home and a Happy and Healthy 2019! Thanks again!
  7. 3 of us flew in the day before our cruise earlier this year and rented a car for only $56.25 thru Costco. It was thru Alamo - picked up at the airport and returned it to the Alamo rental place at the port. Alamo then shuttled us right to the ship. We had a full size car so price was very reasonable. Another thing is that if you have a rental car you have the option of staying a bit further inland and paying less per night for your hotel. This worked well for us.
