I went to urgent because I thought I had sinus infection and tested negative. Only reason I decided to test today was because I couldn’t taste my coffee so guess that’s still a symptom 😳

Yes called him at work so now he’s at home. So far he’s negative and he has three empty bedrooms to choose from.

Solarium Bistro was open for lunch week of May 7th except for sea days

Home on May 14th after a six day cruise, started feeling sick last week, negative for Covid and put on antibiotics for sinus infection. Tested negative again two days ago but this morning noticed I couldn’t taste my coffee or peanut butter. Tested again and came back positive so not sure if it’s from cruise or plane (I did wear mask) but 10 days later? I’ve been grocery shopping few times so who knows? Ugh, feels like a terrible head and chest cold and happy I got my second booster before cruise.

I was on May 8th cruise, crew was constantly cleaning and making sure people were washy washy. I really liked that they were limiting number of people allowed into Park Cafe. Seriously, I think it’s the luck of the draw. I met several people from our Facebook book group and found out later that couple of them tested positive. I started feeling sick five days after I got home, no Covid but still dealing with bad head/chest cold.

Loved Solarium Bistro, ate most of my breakfasts and lunches there, it was never crowded

This cruise was a lift and shift from March 2020, good news for me 😀

Not pounds (thank God) but points. Not complaining at all just not sure how this happened. I did cruise solo so was expecting double points but I’ll take the additional 12 which has given me diamond status. Now I can visit the magic secret Diamond Club and better yet, claim my four drinks a day!

Spending a bit of time apart was good, we appreciate each other so much more ❤️

There was a Solo meet up first day at Schooner Bar around 4:30-5:00 but I did the Meet and Greet that was organized by our private Facebook group and CC group. Great fun and I also did the organized slot pull which was a blast. I highly suggest joining either groups or both, the solo meet up I saw was on RC planner.

Safe travels Sue and Mike and thank you for your honest review. I did a self Covid test last night, so far negative and hopefully stays that way. Waiting to board my flight to Detroit and also planning on parking my butt on couch with my kitties soon! Take care!

So what if they didn’t get off any ports?

Well I’m at the airport waiting to catch my flight to Detroit, it’s been delayed for half hour so that’s not too bad. The terminal has been remodeled so it’s much nicer and construction seems to be complete. Here’s some final thoughts… Pros: Beautiful ship, perfect weather except for some rain yesterday. I cannot say enough good things about the crew especially my cabin attendant, they all work extremely hard and always have a smile on their faces (even with masks). The shows were fantastic, Mama Mia was just as good as any show on Broadway, don’t miss Aqua show and comedian was good too. I really enjoyed the tapas at Vintages, it’s a great place to sit and relax if that’s your thing. I enjoyed Izumi as well. I liked finding everything daily on app, thought I’d miss Cruise Compass but nope. Lots of washy washy stations added and they limited number of people into Park Cafe. The salads there were delicious. Cons: don’t get me started on Windjammer, we used to eat there often but quality just wasn’t there, selections were slim and it seemed like they served the same food every day except for a few additions. Since the ship was almost full, they should have opened entire venue instead of keeping half closed. Saw some coughing going on (place hand over mouth to cough and then grab tongs for food 😡). A cruise wouldn’t be a cruise without chair hogs, right? I did have advantage traveling solo since I could always find a deck chair for myself. Looking forward to coming home, I miss my Elliot (shhh, don’t tell him) and my fur balls. I’m so happy I went for it, would I travel solo again? Only if I didn’t really have a choice and with all the pics I sent hubs (his response was “you’re killing me”) 😏 I think he’s learned his lesson and will take the time off to travel. Next cruise is in November, trying Celebrity for r the first time.

My last meal was tapas to go from Vintages, Italian ham with tomatoes and garlic bread and crab cakes. I enjoyed my meal while looking at my beautiful view on the balcony ❤️ .
