  1. I’m  sure this topic has been done before but I can’t seem to find any posts about it. We are renting a vehicle for both Kahului and Nawiliwili. I believe there is street parking near the port at Nawiliwili but not sure where there is parking in Kahului. Any suggestions for both is appreciated. We’ve been looking forward to this trip for several years. Thanks.

  2. What is the best way to drop off a rental to Budget in Port Canaveral ? We will be a group of eight in a 12 passenger van. 1. Drop off everyone at the port with luggage first then return and catch the shuttle. 2. Go to Budget and everyone get on shuttle with luggage and let them take us to the port. I've tried to call them directly but get routed to national customer service. I feel #1 is probably the correct way but don't know how easy it is to leave and get back. Thanks for your input.

  3. All this weeping and gnashing of teeth over being inconvenience is quite disgusting. Our family's first cruise was inconvenienced before we left. Bird flu kept us from both our Ports in Mexico. Cruise changed from 5 to 7 days which resulted in taking more days off from work to go. Went to Key West and Bahamas. Medical emergency first night, 18 year old overboard (never found), capsized boat discovered and had to be investigated. Made us late to ports and shortened time there. Still, we made the best of it and enjoyed ourselves despite it all. So much so, we have booked a cruise just about every other year. The loss of a young persons life, no matter the reason, trumps your inconvenience 100% of the time. This person will never have the opportunity to save for a cruise, celebrate an anniversary, etc. Sad.

  4. My wife loves a good dirty vodka martini. She has become a Tito's vodka fan. Do they have Tito's at any of the bars ? Cruisin' on the Magic in May ! Also, do they have Crown Regal Apple at any of the bars ? I'm addicted.

  5. We are going on our fifth Carnival cruise in May '17. We will be on the Magic out of Port Canaveral. No Playlist if I'm correct. Having said that, being a musician, I've always enjoyed the live bands. Main show room, lounges, decks, everywhere. Pre-recorded music for paid professional singers is not anything more than glorified karaoke, no matter how many lights and speakers you have. Nothing wrong with karaoke for the passengers but for main showroom entertainment, I'll pass. I enjoy the comedy clubs and Dive-in movies are ok. Just my two cents worth, which is not worth a plug nickel. BTW, I've never had a bad time on a Carnival cruise. Ever.

  6. Thanks for the advice. Snorkeling is not for us. Shade for me and sun for DW and some beverages and food are what we're looking for. Just relaxing(like don't do enough on the ship).:) Sounds like the beach at MBCC might be the ticket. Is that the one that has the flying chairs to it? It can be walked to also, correct?
