    We stayed five full days in Sydney before our cruise a few years ago and even that was not enough time. We loved Sydney. Nicest people we ever met!

    Cruised with Captain Tasos before as well. So personable and funny. We are on the Ascent this coming Sept and hoping he will be on the ship. Enjoying your review.

    Share it. The first time we tried it, my husband d and myself each ordered one ( back in the day when it wasn’t so pricy) and could barely walk afterwards. For the on we shared. Enjoy!

    Oceangoer, Thanks so much for clearing that up! I think I just got so excited about the price that I mixed up the date with a summer cruise that’s on the 20th. Out TA was amazed at the price. Vicky

    Oops. I meant Nov.20th. Just transferred booking to our TA who said once transferred, Celebrity cannot cha be the price. But who knows.

    We did this cruise several years ago on the Solstice. Amazing! Enjoy Sydney. We loved it.

    Regarding taxis, we returned to Vancouver last May from our Hawaiian cruise. Several ships in port and the line for taxis was MASSIVE. We ended up taking the train to the airport ( and we did have a lot of luggage.and made our flight ( was also early time).

    Hi Lois, Where have you been? Always enjoyed your live from reviews. Please let us know on this thread when you do a live from a other line. We were on the Eclipse last May, Hawaii and back to Vancouver. Had a wonderful time!
