  1. That sounds about right. The old Wal-Mart roll back pricing. Raise it 22%, then mark it down 20%! 😄
  2. We had ours drop online. Had to cancel and rebook at the lower fare. It was prior to them rolling out the Best Price guarantee. I would imagine that a $1200 OBC vs. $1000 refund still works in Princess favor considering the markup onboard for services.
  3. I used chat. Had to try twice to get someone that knew what they were doing. After you do so, check your final balance, especially if you are past final payment. I assumed they would just charge my CC. No, there was a balance that needed to be paid right away.
  4. Correction. There are too many changes to get to the town center from Steinwerner. Better to do Uber or taxi.
  5. We were on Azamara Journey and disembarked there in 2014. I don't know of a shuttle bus, but there is regular bus service to and from the port. You catch it next to the terminal. We opted not to stay in Hamburg and rented a car from SIXT instead, which was at the terminal. We were on the 70th Anniversary of WWII cruise which was awesome. Then when we disembarked, we tried to catch up to our church group that was doing a Reformation Tour as we neared the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. We rented a car from SIXT.
  6. Thank you for sharing this. We will be on the Regal in November in C433 Accessible, so this helps a bunch. Good to know about the plugs at the desk for CPAP machine. We have a 5' multi-port extension cord (non sp) for cruising that I will make sure to pack.
  7. Alright, Alright, Alright!!! 😁 I will look for it on our Regal cruise from Galveston in November.
  8. Thanks! See you in November, perhaps in the same line. BTW, what time do they open the doors typically?
  9. My wife and I have mobility scooters and will be cruising on the Regal in November out of Galveston. Does anyone know if there is a separate security and boarding line for the disabled? We will have our medallions and are green lane ready. Also we are in an accessible MS on the Caribe deck by the mid ship elevators. Will we be able to access our cabin as soon as they start boarding? TIA
  10. Never mind my last post. I tried and it didn't find it.
  11. It's there. Just type in Princess Cruises in the search bar. I had difficulty finding it as well a few months back. Search brought it right up.
  12. That's true! It makes no difference if Princess Plus or Premier, or Premier90. It is the TABC. It treats the ship same as a landside bar until it exits Texas waters. They can sell you a some limited drink choices, but cannot give them to you. Hence the reason they give you a $25pp OBC.
  13. That language has always been there, yet we've been told that the OBC still exists. At least out of Galveston. We shall find out in 43 days.
  14. Adding that the $25 pp OBC will more than pay for the wine. 😉
  15. 90 minutes roughly. If we leave at 3:00pm drink between 4:30-5:00. We will bring two bottles of chilled sparkling wine to have in the meantime.
  16. This is my wine thermos that I sail with. I am able to transport this easily with my scooter. I can carry it to other venues or to my stateroom. It beats ordering 5 glasses from Ocean Now.
  17. Thanks all. Lots of good information here. Does anyone know if Non Reserve mini suites have wine glasses and champagne flutes in the staterooms or do we need to call room service for a glass or glasses of wine to be delivered? We like the wine choices in Vines and both my wife and I use mobility scooters, which makes it tough to take wine from Vines to another venue. Kind of hard to hold a drink in one hand and steer with he other! I'm against drinking and driving! 😁 However, we do have a 750 ML. wine thermoses we travel with that has a screw top that we can use to transport without spilling it.
  18. Laughing. I ordered a tuna melt one time on the menu at lunch and it arrived without cheese on it and it was cold. I told the waiter and he said it doesn't come with cheese. I asked then what part of the sandwich was a melt? He brought another one back with a slice of cheese on it. Still cold and un-melted. I gave up and just had a tuna sandwich! 😁
  19. What was your sail date? I heard the first couple of sail dates of them sailing from Galveston was a mess.
