Is this why there are so many Future Cruise Consultants onboard now?  I noticed the ramp up in January of 2023.  Just got off the Sky and Royal and there are 4 Future Cruise Consultants onboard.

At least 4 on the ships, possibly up to 6

Well, she has it signed as Cruise Vacation Planner, so I will be referring to her as "CVP".

Referring to the people on the ships. The FCC people, on the ships. Not the CVP, on land who you call, or call you.

Future cruise offices are Princess employees. My CVP sometimes gets called on to help out on some cruises

Not since sometime in November. The Future Cruise people on the ships now work for a company that is not part of Carnival Corp.

This is news to me... Curious as to the source as @Steelers36 asks.  I just got an email from the CVP that has been assigned to us for several years now.  Her signature shows Princess.

    Future Cruise Consultant, not CVP.

  5. No.( there is no cruise from Vancouver to Hawaii stopping in Seattle.) The cruise from Seattle is a one day cruise to . From Vancouver is another cruise. The only way to go from Seattle to Hawaii, is to get off a ship in Vancouver, stay off until the next day (considered 24 hours), , and take another ship to Hawaii.

I was on that sailing as well. My color tag was for 8:45 disembarkation, and they were running an hour behind by the time I disembarked at 9:45. I overheard Valeria, the loyalty and events manager, explain to one woman that she could disembark then but that her luggage may not be ready. They were still bringing out more bags when I got off the ship.

My understanding is that the delay was because they started with just one gangway. It was the same problem they had 16 days before.

And that particular problem is outside Princess control. Port workers/operations are responsible for that. I was also on the cruise and was off 5 minutes after they started disembarking.

The room stewards are super busy on turn around days, and may not have time to help with your move.  But if you need help moving your belongings you can always speak with Guest Services ahead of time to make arrangements.

Guess you have never done a change of cabins on a b2 b . They will help you.

An idea that MIGHT work... If there are people doing a back-to-back cruise they will be able to stay on board, except for a swift exit and re-board to get re-checked in. These people will probably be allocated a lounge or bar area to hang around in (this was certainly true on a Celebrity B2B I did a few years ago).  You could just mingle with this crowd if they are not checked, then depart when they do their quick exit.  Maybe someone who has done a recent B2B on Princess can confirm is this would be workable.

No that is bad info.  They don’t let the b2b people off untill the rest of the passengers are off. Think about it

  9. Day 16 of 20. 52 total (so far) Princess cruises. Possibly worst ever.  Food 3 of 10, entertainment 2-3, guest speakers ok, crew is great ( well at least bar staff) , internet almost a non factor, do not plan on using it. Just in Wheelhouse, entertainment,  they try but dang……MDR , stick with the favorites or ……buffet - nothing more than warm ,  And it seens like I had this yesterday. Short staffed, drinks, possibly or maybe tomorrow. Deserts , disappinting at best.  Ordered  food delivery several times, may or may not get what ya ordered. 2 cruises locked in, 10 or so may not happen on PCL unless things change. A significant downgrade from pre-covid.
