  1. It does, thank you! That means I will have several different refunds then, I paid in installments as we saved up money. Ugh.
  2. We just got partial refunds, are they doing it in the blocks of what we paid? I had one for $500 and one for $353 hit my credit card today, but that is a looooong way from the total paid for 2 YC cabins.
  3. This is one of my hubby’s favorite lunch spots! I’m not a huge pasta fan, but when I am craving pasta on the cruise it’s yummy! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  4. No, I will not cruise with those restrictions. I wont even cruise if I am having to be tested prior to boarding. We will try land vacations for a while until the restrictions lessen.
  5. LOVE THIS!!!! I'm going to have to go check it out. :)
  6. I would love a cruise that started in say, Galveston, and stopped in NOLA and Key West! I'd book that in a heartbeat!
  7. BREAKFAST pizza? Now you’re talking! I can’t wait to try it out! I will tell DH to try the spicy salami pizza. Personally, I see all the different offerings and am excited...I love veggie pizzas and the list looks incredible! This is great to know, thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  8. I will tell him that, thanks! I really don’t want to be a lot of trouble for them, pizza is not the end of the world...I’m sure he can find another snack if need be! :) Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  9. OK my husband is dying over here asking "Do they not have a regular pepperoni pizza onboard?" We will be MSC newbies next year, can someone put his mind at ease please? :)
  10. No idea, but this is our first MSC cruise so itinerary isn’t the most important to us...it’s all about checking out the line at this point. :) We drive down from N.C., so this cuts off several hours for us! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  11. We were booked on her for June 2021, but I am thrilled by this news! I love sailing from PC, much better than Miami, and as soon as we are able to I will transfer that old booking to one of the new ones. :) Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  12. Due to work restrictions, I am not able to cruise for the rest of this year without doing a self quarantine upon return. :( So, instead of doing 2 cruises this fall, we will be road trippin' it! We are going to go spend a few days in Perdido Key, FL, then head to NOLA (love that place!) for a few days, and then finally end up in Lake Conroe, TX for a bit. Since we have been married we have not done a road trip, so this will be a change!
  13. Love love love Cucina! The bread is great, the eggplant app delicious, chicken parm main was FANTASTIC. Oh my. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  14. If you get away from the beach that is right there at the port, it isn't rocky at all. Or at least it hasn't been when we have gone. Down by Jack's it is wonderful!
  15. We had the same experience in Cozumel on a CCL excursion, and when we got off the ferry and onto the pier I felt so embarrassed by all the "encouragement" from our shipmates, even though I knew it was not our fault we were late! It was crazy to watch the 2 other Carnival ships sailing out at our sailaway time as we were on the ferry....I kept looking to make sure neither ship was ours! Haha.
  16. Best plan ever! Jack's Shack is awesome, we were lucky to discover it back in 2013 on our first stop in GT. We were in an aft balcony and had this family on vacation together surrounding us on each side....we didn't know that leading up to the cruise they kept calling Carnival hoping to book our room! They took us in and made us family members for the week, and they told us that we had to go down to Jack's when we got to GT. We also hear from other friends that we made onboard to go there. We were so glad that we did! The food and drinks are good, the dogs are fun, and that water....oh its Heaven on Earth!
  17. I just went on a horseback riding excursion and fell off. No major injuries, just a bit sore! So, I am going to heads to Jack's Shack for some liquid painkiller and conch fritters. :)
  18. Seaday brunch, yum!!!! Then we look over the FunTimes to see what we want to do....if nothing tickles our fancy, I will grab my book and read on my balcony (or on deck if we don't have a balcony) until lunchtime. Then we usually hit the water slides or adults pool, then play mini golf. Hubby always takes an afternoon nap, then its time for dinner. One we finish dinner, we will venue jump...if we like the production show in the main theater we will hit that, then check out the comedy club, then hit up the piano bar. We like the nighttime activities the best. :)
  19. Just tried to do my own Master Mixologist class, my take on the Mocha Chocolate Getaway wasn’t nearly as good as theirs! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  20. Oh I would love to have that view! Thanks for sharing.
  21. Tomato & Mozzarella, add BACON...it’s like a BLT on steroids! also like the tomato & mozzarella, add avocado. on our last cruise they had an egg & cheese sandwich on embarkation day...it was delicious!
  22. HMC by far! Much nicer beach, Princess Cay was too rocky.
  23. Thanks for the review OP! We are sailing MSC for the first time this September, in the YC on Seaside, and I am so looking forward to it. We have loved all our Carnival cruises, but I think a change is going to breathe some fresh life into cruising for us. :)
  24. OP, thanks for asking these questions! We are cruising MSC for the first time in September in the YC, and I am so looking forward to it but had a lot of the same questions. :)
