  5. If you are in the Haven, the laundry bag you use is larger and fabric (thin, smaller, paper bag is left in standard room). The current cost per bag, without any discount or "Free" perk is $29.00/per bag!
  6. The experience is quite likely to be very different. Hawaii dictates that the majority of the workers be US citizens on the Pride! The differences are reflected in attitudes and service performance by the crew on other NCL ships. I think you be much happier on your future cruise with NCL.

  13. I cannot answer your question specifically about that excursion. However, DH and I often walk from the ship into Cozumel downtown and beyond. The only true "dangers" we have felt are the heat of the day, and, being constantly asked to buy things we do not want. Mostly, everyone participating would need to be able to keep a rather quick pace, if "winning" is your objective!

There were areas of the greater Houston area that were quite stormy, and according to the article: the strong weather included wind gusts recorded as high as 47 miles per hour (76 kilometers per hour), conditions strong enough to put too much stress on the lines holding the 143,535-gross-ton vessel. At least one mooring line snapped, which could be dangerous if the line had ricocheted toward dock workers. Fortunately, most workers had already taken shelter and were far enough from the incident to remain safe. The ship did not break completely free, and was quickly re-secured. When any lines break, a large ship will be drifting somewhat loosely, which can be a dangerous situation.
