  1. ... Just received this email from Hawaii Tourism: “Aloha from our home to yours. Hawaii has a long tradition of welcoming visitors from around the world. The hookipa (hospitality) and Aloha Spirit that people feel as they explore our islands has become stuff of legends. At this time however, like many of you, we are focusing on the health and safety of our community, visitor industry employees, health care professionals and our healthcare system. As a small, remote island community, our residents are particularly vulnerable to the COVID-19 crisis. Hawaii Governor David Ige has asked that you postpone your trips to Hawaii to give us the opportunity to address this health crisis. To that end he has mandated a 14-day quarantine for all visitors and residents entering the state. In addition, the island mayors have over the past few days instituted home lockdowns except for essential personnel. Like all visitors to Hawaii, we would like you to experience the best the islands have to offer. Now, unfortunately, is clearly not the time. Mahalo and a hui hou (until we meet again). The Hawaiian Islands”
  2. We were in 7317. ** Am also making a correction - it was on Reflection, not Silhouette... sorry.
  3. We sailed Reflection this past January, 10 day Caribbean- we waited until on-board and purchased a one-device unlimited package for approx. $144 USD at the iLounge .
  4. Hey There, We enjoyed a 10 day Caribbean cruise January of this year in a sunset verandah on the Silhouette, deck 7. We had always wanted to try an aft cabin at least once but will probably not book one again. Pros & cons: Pros: was in a quiet location; the walk was not an issue at all; dining room is directly below; didn’t feel exposed to those above us; great views Cons: every day our balcony was soaking wet: the chairs, table and always a puddle on the floor - this water either from rain or hosing down from above so our feet were always wet, had to wear sandals/shoes. If it started to rain you also have no shelter whatsoever due to lack of overhead coverage. Because our balcony was always soaking wet we did not enjoy our breakfast outside once, which is one of the things we’ve always enjoyed while cruising in a balcony. Alternately, if your balcony happened to be in the full sun we found it much too hot to stay out for long - would be a plus if you’re a sun worshipper. Having said all that, I say go for it because you’ll never know unless you try it for yourself! P. S. we did not have any footstools either, would’ve been very nice to have them!
  5. Is stateroom 7354 larger than 7352? Wondering if that is why the cost is a bit more, or if that is because of it’s location. Thanks!
