  1. Straw Control? Only from my dead cold hands!
  2. Ten years ago when they were supper clubs on Carnival with the grand piano and live entertainment the steaks were excellent. Since they went to steak house the quality has degraded. I worked in food service and we cut steaks for Ritz Carlton. There is no way those steaks are prime! The steaks that are choice that I grill at home are much better.
  3. Hey Tom and Cheryl, be safe! When Charley hit us as a cat 4, I would not wish on anyone!
  4. We did two Celebrity cruises last year and IMO the food was worse than Carnivals. Now I'm not saying Carnivals food is good either!
  5. There is no loophole anymore. My B to B they held the booze till the second leg of the cruise.
  6. I just got off Celebrity Infinity last week and the food is about the same, no better than Carnival!
  7. We live on the West coast of Florida and were 3 hours from Ft. Lauderdale. We were driving to port on day of embarkment. Our timing chain broke right in the middle of Alligator Alley! We had AAA and Naples and Ft Lauderdale were fighting over who would tow us! Finally Naples came and the tow truck driver took us right to the ship at 4 PM! Never again!
  8. Can anyone recommend an outstanding waiter for anytime dining? I am booked on Dec 14th voyage.
  9. We did b2b on Miracle, and the bootles we bought in St Thomas the first leg, were kept till the end of the cruise. I think if you go to the ship's shop the late afternoon of first leg, they will let you take to your room.
  10. If you don't like Guys, you don't like burgers!
