Best way to get to Maho Beach from Port

We are coming in on Carnival Vista into Port St. Maarten and we want to go to Sunset Bar and Grill: Maho Beach, but I'm a little confused. Can we pick up a water taxi from this port? Where will it take us to? Then taxi from there to Maho Beach? Current pricing would be great - there are three of us. Thanks in advance.

    Free ubp package

If the cabin has UBP Promo and only two people in cabin - one under 21 but parent signing waiver for beer and wine - do both get the alcohol card?

We have choosen the package as part of the current FREE offer. If I had to pay for it I would pass as I don't drink that much.

    GSC Cabanas and OBP

Few questions. What is the difference in location between the large cabanas and the small cabanas? The large ones appear to be more private but just curious if that means more walking. It states that the small cabana is for 6 people and the large is for 8, $25 for each additional person. Do they really monitor them? Most in our group will be in and out so how are they to tell. Are we allowed "visitors"? It states there is a food credit. So can I assume no food or drink comes with the cabana? Can we bring our own drinks off the ship? How far is it for food? Do they have waiters in the area or a bar? Can we use the UBP?

    Great Stirrup Cay cabana

Can you use your UBP on the island or do you have to pay for drinks on GSC?

    Jade Drink Package

With the UBP can you order soda also? What about bottled water? Can you use it on the private island or do you have to pay for your drinks while off the ship?

What if you have the unlimited drink card?

    Grand stirrup cay: Food

Since this is a private island and you tender do they bring food ashore or do you have to purchase? Does your drink card work while you are on the island or do you have to purchase drinks?

    Grand Stirrup Cay Snorkel

I see NCL has an all-day snorkel excursion. It sounds like it's at your leisure. Can you just bring your own snorkel equipment?

Taxi fare: Ship to Sunset Beach Resort

Anyone know what the taxi fare is from the ship to Sunset Beach Resort?

Sunset beach resort on your own

It used to be you could book Sunset Beach on your own, no cruise ship, no resort site. Is this still the case? Can you show up and get a pass?

    Something new?

I know it's asking a lot - after all Cozumel is an island with limitations - but we have been here several times. Done the bar hop, beach, snorkel, shopping, dolphins and even a cooking class. What is there to do that's different? Was thinking zip line but from everything I've read it's not anything special since it's all flat (we've zip lined in Hawaii and Belize so would probably be disappointed). Short of just staying on the ship just not sure what to do. There are three of us - 2 active 53 year olds and our son who is 24. He is autistic but adventurous as long as it doesn't involve flying things (like bugs, birds or butterflies). He doesn't like anything that comes at him quickly. HELP!!
