  1. We also have it delivered in our room on sail day. Sometimes we ask that it be delivered later after sail to avoid local or govt taxes.
  2. My only visit to the Naughty Room was for a bottle of large olives which I use for my martinis. Jar didn't even look like a liquor bottle. They do check.
  3. First time we went there we were awed with the margaritas and prices (good). Second time 2 years later not so much, disappointed. I guess it is luck of the draw. We like Miguel's, another tourist spot near Old Town. Agave with its huge selection of tequilas etc. great food. Also near OT. Funny how we out of towners can wax eloguently on local restaurants. Hope some local foodies chime in.
  4. This was a first price change for us. IMHO, Celebrity Air deals were always easy to navigate and tremendous savings. This was our 2nd with Flight-Ease. The good news was that although this is a domestic flight the savings were minimal but I don't have to pay until totals due. Holding on a $50 deposit. Great incentive.
  5. My apologies!! I got this post confused with my Nov. Eurodam Canal cruise. OOps.
  6. I'm a fanatic in that respect. Nothing happens until final payment anyway. Let's meet at the aft bar.
  7. Spoke to TA. changes occur until paid in full. I suppose if I paid it when I booked it would have stood. But it was too far off. Was able to get air plus TransCanal for $50 deposit. I honestly don't remember. I think it showed up in the guest information of the HAL site. Showed old air fare and the new air. With note that no guarantee until paid.

  9. I did the same on my booking and the fares shown were more than my previous booking.
  10. I don't remember HAL ever informing us of anything. I found out by going to the flight-ease website and checking the airfare we booked. Our payment isn't due until Aug. so we don't like to be blindsided. That way I can rebook if we find a better flight.
  11. just happened to us. Our Nov cruise flights just went up by $100 pp. Damn!
  12. The greatest tool any company can use is a Chat button. For those of us who are deaf or hard of hearing, we rely on emails rather than telephone. I have found Chat a most effective and useful tool. To those companies who have this, I am very grateful. I have never seen one on HAL. Nor on Celebrity, my other go to Line. Why? With the age of HAL's passengers, it would seem an ideal customer relation tool.
  13. Well, bless your heart. Do I detect a snide remark for stating an obvious generalization.? My assumption was that the 1 pp was a known. Should have known. My bad!!!
  14. Corkage applies to each bottle over limit (2 per room) regardless of where it may be consumed.
  15. Almost all ships have a card room. Not quite the same.
